I can say this beyond a doubt this companies products are well worth the price you pay. I know many people who’ve owned there products over the years and handled their journals many times. I unfortunately do not own one as Amazon appears to be unable to deliver products when they say they will. I recommend buying this companies products but I would do so via there site not Amazon. Until Amazon stops using the UPSP you can not count on all of there delivery’s being on time

I've lost count of how many Oberon journals I've purchased at this point. Each one feels totally unique and special, from my first one with a gorgeously tooled turtle purchased around '92, to this latest one with Celtic knots. I really wonder if they do custom designs, because I'd trust them implicitly with any project. These journals feel very high end, elegant, and I feel that they're very much work the price tag.

The quality of these journals is top notch. This is actually my 2nd Oberon leather journal. I have the same pattern but in the chocolate color which I plan on giving to my son. The wine color I think is very beautiful coupled with the Celtic hound design. The leather is high quality and thick compared to other leather journals. This is not a journal to just throw around or to go backpacking with. It's too nice for that. Really great American handcrafted item. Thank you.

I was concerned about the price and the quality of the work for the price but having it in my hands clear that up. It is definitely worth the price and the quality was evident in just holding it. It is well crafted and I like the idea that the book inside can be changed out without surrendering the cover. Well worth the price. It arrived as expected and advertised.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. As with all Oberon products I've purchased, it was gorgeous.
