Power Station Battery Box Trolling Motor Power Center Station Battery Box with USB & 12V Port

I considered all the other boxes before settling on this one, and really glad I did. This one provides the most functionality of all the listed boxes and you never have to take the battery out, even for charging. Be sure to see my photo for several inexpensive improvements I added on. Unlike the complaints about the others, the handle will never come loose or off on this box because it is reinforced with a metal plate on the underneath side of the lid. I connect my travel trailer + and - input wires quick and easy underneath the wingnuts I added and I use a ratchet strap to hold the box in place on the trailer's mounting rack. BTW, inside the box I put a new, LiTime 12V, 100Ah LiFePO4 (lithium/iron) battery. It was very expensive, about $300, but hugely superior to standard car batteries (lead acid type), beginning with a weight of only 22 pounds vs. 65 for the lead acid type, and LiFePO4 type holds a useful charging level much longer.

This case was easy to install however the top for it that sits over the battery does not sit all the way down! Like you would think it would.

It's not clear how to fasten the strap I'm. Going to add extra straps as it's all that holds the lid on there is plenty of ventilation at the sides of the lid also the wiring in the lid also can fowl the battery you have to position correctly. I'm going to modify with a 100A fuse and second circuit breaker - overall its strong plastic and well built

Das Positive: Funktioniert prinzipiell gut.Die Batteriekiste bietet Platz für eine Autobatterie mit Standardmasse bis etwa 70 Ah.Für eine zusätzliche Stabilität des Unterteils gibt es einen Stabilisator, mit der man die Batterie arretieren kann, wenn die Batterie nicht die ganze Kiste ausfüllt. Um das Verschieben der Batterie zu verhindern hatte ich zusätzlich einen Holzklotz in die Lücke eingepasst. Alle Stromabgänge sind gesichert und lassen sich über den Schalter ein- und Ausschalten.Das Negative:Die Schnalle der Gurte welche Deckel und Unterteil zusammen halten ist zuwenig stark um die Kiste mit der Batterie am Griff zu tragen. Mit einer Spanngurte mit Ratsche funktioniert es.Die Kabel für den Batterieanschluss sind sehr kurz gehalten und die Kabelschuhe sind schlecht aufgepresst. Nach dem Aufpressen neuer Kabelschuhe halten diese nun wirklich fest.Die Schrauben am Deckel musste ich alle nachziehen, waren alle recht lose.Fazit: Ersetzt man die Gurte durch ein Spannset und erneuert die Kabelschuhe dann ist die Batteriekiste verwendbar. Preis/Leistung ist ausreichend.
