Exceptional unit, performed beyond my expectations.

i purchased this tool to drive in tent stakes as they advertised it would handle. I sent it out for repair within the first month since it was stalling and was not pounding very hard. They covered the repair of the unit but I had to pay $175 to ship the unit !! It worked a bit better once repaired. We only use this equipment on our small 3/4 diameter stakes as it will not drive in the 1.25 diameter stakes.....disappointed. Have a wacker Neuson jack hammer that drives anything into the ground although it it quite a bit heavier.

We purchased three of these Rhino GPD-45 units for some U channel sign post projects we had. These units have an inherent flaw in design that causes the hardened anvil to jam up in the sleeve. This is likely the result of the two part design and bolted connection of the driver body assembly. The Company WILL NOT repair this as they indicate it is a "normal wear" issue. Furthermore they neglect to perform any repairs to the unit under the "lifetime impact warranty" I've also had anvil shafts break that they reuse to cover under warranty. I would suggest to anyone needing to use a gas powered post pounder to consider the Skidril units. They cost less, work better and the company will actually honor their lifetime warranty.

had the tool for 1 1/2 years. wont drive thin wall 2 1/2 pipe, mushrooms in the tube. one advertiser claims it will.after 1 1/2 the tool is junk. motor runs but the driver portion doesnt work properly. ive worked on it and done all the maintence the manufacturer told me to. very disappointed. way over priced. ive considered building a website called dont buy rhino drivers because of my expierence

This Driver works well for me, saves a huge amount of time, and I have a GPD30, and a GPD40 also. I have not had The company deny any warranty, and they took care of any issues we had right away, at no cost. Cant beat that.!. Not sure why the other reviewer didnt get satisfaction? I am more than happy with these Rhino drivers.
