very good
The little sweeper is not 'industrial duty' device by any means but works like a champ if you know how to take care of it. It won't take the place of your vacuum cleaner 'cause it's not meant to. The manuals never tell you all the little "fixy" stuff or nobody would ever buy anything! Make sure the roller brushes and stuff turn freely all the time. If they fill up with string, hair, etc. it slows it down and taxes the rechargeable battery pack, hence seems like it doesn't work very well. Empty the debris-tray out often, and always check for free movement of all the roller brushes, front, back, and sides. Like some others have mentioned, don't leave the battery pack sitting in the charger when you are not using it, leave it on the sweeper. When it (the sweeper) starts to get weak when using it, that's the time to put the battery pack back on the charger for six hours, not overnight or two days, etc.) then put it back on the sweeper. My 91 year old mother loves it 'cause it's so light, sweeps the floor and little carpets real good and is so easy for her to use. I'd recommend the sweeper and charger unit, with all the above 'pointers' to anyone who thinks it looks like something they'd need and like. Also, one last thing. Each corner has a little cover (underneath)for the roller brush pins (connected inside under the little cover). If it ever really got stuck or slow (any of the roller or more brushes), those are the things to take off with a little philips head screwdriver and clean up the roller pin attachment then put the little cover back on. If you have anyone who is at all handy with stuff around you, this little vac can work 'on and on' and give some help where an appliance of it's kind is needed. This goes for about anything. I just happen to be pretty good with a lot of 'gizmo' handywork. Like the others said, never leave the battery on the charger for more than eight hours, six is probably best. It's really a very good sweeper and easy to care for if you're at all handy or have a "handyperson" around!

Decent quality
This is a replacement batter and as such it appears to work well. It is too early to rate the longevity of this product. RIght now all I can point out is that it is of slightly lower quality than the original battery and it does not fit without a bit more force than I expected. In any case, I was really glad to find these replacement units online since the only other option would be to attempt to refurbish the original...

Update: This battery works!! The product does not get fully charged
My first battery that came with my G2 lasted about 2 years. After receiving this supposedly NEW product, I charged it for 6 hours but it barely kept my G2 running for 30 seconds.Update May 23, 2013:I bought another swivel sweeper and put this battery in it. The sweeper worked flawlessly. I guess the problem is actually from the old sweeper. Somehow the old one wouldn't draw power from the battery. I apologize for giving this product a bad review before. This battery actually works as advertised.

I believe this battery is a cheap, poorly made, imitation
First of all, it doesn't fit correctly in my regular charger. I can get it in, but have a heck of a time getting it out. It sticks in the charger because the sides that you press in to release the battery from the charger are too large. Also, when it is in my swivel sweeper, it keeps jarring loose. I have to press it back into place about every ten seconds. I also noticed that it looks different than my real swivel battery. The terminals are different. Both terminals on this battery are completely flat and the same size, but I noticed on my original battery that the one terminal is different from the other.. It's smaller and it seems to protrude a little farther out. Maybe its like a positive and a negative. (I'm not sure about that though.) My original battery stays in place and still gives me at least 20 minutes of "sweep" time, but, this battery only held a charge for about five minutes and then was completely depleted. Yeah, you can bet that this thing is going back. Here's the thing, though, I love my Swivel Sweeper and I hope they never stop making them. I have had this sweeper for at least five years and the one before that for about three or four years. I use it several times a week and don't ever want to be without one. So, I am going to buy my replacement batteries from the original company and pay that ridiculous price and the unbelievable shipping and handling. I feel in my gut that the S&H is much more than what the actual price is to produce these batteries, therefore, making the actual price of the item, itself, all profit. But then I believe that's the case on all these infomercial products. GREED STRIKES AGAIN!! Doesn't that kind of answer the question about how they can "double the offer" and just charge for the shipping and handling???? Think about it!... Maybe we are a nation of not very bright sheep{?}
