I needed something for remote/makeshift conference room situation with about 4-8 people at a table. The laptop mic/speaker situation was really limiting our ability to get good communication. This does take care of that problem, but it's at a big cost. The incoming audio is better than laptop speakers but probably about the same as any run of the mill bluetooth speak. The mic quality is good enough to pick up everyone in the room, but probably not good enough to sound like a dedicated microphone, even when you're nice and close to it.My favorite parts are the light but very sturdy build quality, the assortment of touch pad buttons for volume, hanging up, etc. and the fact you can wrap the chord around the unit for easy storage.My least favorite part was the bluetooth unit I paid extra for. Don't get me wrong, it works, but it's a pretty cheap little dongle that's super easy to lose since there is no dedicated place to store it on the unit.

Best for smaller huddle rather than a whole room but surprisingly capable

It just works. Voice quality is superior to other mid market devices. Mic is exceptional. No feedback issues.

I absolutely love the sound quality from this. I can hear people very clearly, they can hear me clearly, there is no echo...from that standpoint it's incredible. WAY better than the Jabra SPEAK 410 I'm trying to replace. However, the Jabra consistently worked and this one does not. My complaints:- While the red light is useful to know I'm on mute, it randomly goes away after 10-15 minutes, which defeats the purpose.- Sometimes I can press the mute button and I'll be muted on Zoom (i.e., no double mute situation). Other times it doesn't work. Sometimes if I mute myself in Zoom, this will be muted and turn red. But only sometimes.- The noise that the buttons makes it so loud. Why can't I adjust this?- The icon with a phone on it is just always green when I'm not in a meeting. What's the point? Also, I wish I could disable the backlight for the "rocket" button since I have no use for it.- I like that I can connect my phone to take the occasional phone call from this. But then what? I need to stay connected to to it via Bluetooth indefinitely? I have to disable Bluetooth manually on my phone to disconnect. Supposedly I should be able to press the Bluetooth button to disconnect, but it doesn't work.I badly want this thing to work out, but it needs some work. I'm still within the return timeframe, so unless I find some resolution for these problems, I'll probably have to keep searching.

We use this in the office conference room for 16 seat table. The audio quality for Teams/WebEx/Zoom/et all has been exceptional.

I am unable to figure out why the mute/unmute does not work with zoom. Not much room to figure out yourself. Need to call customer serviceUpdate: Called the customer service, the support personnel walked me through setting up the BT600 USB. Had to remove Bluetooth pairing. Press the small white button on the BT600USB device while the Poly Sync 40 was waiting for pairing.It works perfect now.

Good sound. It’s a bit heavy so not an ideal companion to move around with. However the primary purpose was to get a good sounding device that picks up good audio as well for multiple platforms including zoom and teams for my kids. . Does the job quite well.

Great speaker with good sound quality. Easy to set up and use. A level up from just computer audio or using the speaker setting on your phone.

Die Lautstärke am Gerät ist auf Maximum. Die Geräteansagen sind extrem laut. Die Mikrofone arbeiten ordentlich. Wir selbst sind gut zu verstehen. Aber aus dem Lausprecher kommt fast nichts. Wir konnten das Problem nicht lösen. Geht zurück. Das gleiche Problem gab es auch bereits beim Plantronics Poly Sync 20. [22.10.2022]

Ich niutze den Conference Speaker für meine täglichen Video Sessions mit unseren Mitarbeitern weltweitWürde ich wieder kaufen. Leider ist der Preis etwas teuer, abwer die Qualität und der Nutzen des Speakers ist sehr gut

I bought it because of the other reviews. Perfect Product! I use it for a small office with several computers and a few people, for Zoom. Go with it!
