I got this just to control my lights not any fans as my fans are high power 4pin the light modes are great dident know there is maybe 30 of them to choose and no you don’t need to have a fan hooked up just to use the light spots on it now just to see how long it continues working.

I wasn't too sure about this argb/fan hub when I first found it. I needed something that was affordable but had alot of 5v argb ports as well as fan ports. For 20$ i really can't complain too much about it. The controller works just fine but you do have to be someone's close to the case for the hub to pick up the signal.I'm sure people would like a more customizable lighting array but I don't use rainbow or anything like that, just one solid color so it works good for my builds.It has a magnetic back to the hub and it's definitely strong enough. Also cool that the hub itself has built in rgb which I didn't know when I bought it.All in all, I'd recommend it for a budget option if you need a 4pin fan and 5v argb hub with controller.

I followed the enclosed instructions, but I can't coordinate this with RAM, GCU and PSU RGBs. Also, the fans will only run full speed and very noisily so. That is NOT what they are supposed to do. When plugged in directly to mobo, they do self-adjust speed. But that does not happen when plugged in to this hub. Maybe this hub should limit itself to ARGB only, without the fan power headers. That would make it smaller and it would do well what it was supposed to do.

Dose the job. It even has the remote that makes it so I don’t have to big my system down with rgb software

If you want better control on your CPU, fan, any other lights, this is awesome.

My ASUS board decided to quit rgb function so I got this to just light up not control fans.The box itself has multi color lights but it only outputs blue to fans.Actually not even mad as I like the static blue but not what I thought it would do.
