Works good
2005 Ford Focus outer CV bootIt wasn’t as hard as everyone is saying to get the boot over the cone. I greased the cone and inside of the boot with silicone grease before I tried and it went right over with some force.Hardest part was getting the large end of the boot over the big knuckle on the crv joint without getting grease everywhere. You need a set of CV joint clamp pliers, they aren’t included in the kit.

Works great! There is a trick to install the boot.
Here is what worked for me:I need to replace the outer boots so I kept the axles on the carKey: keep you hands grease free!1) Position the axle so that you can put force on it and the axle won't move. This keeps you from getting injured.2) Take the boot and turn it inside out3) Spray inside the boot with cooking spray. Do NOT spray the outside of the boot or your hands. Set it down on a clean surface.4) With your hand inside the cone spray the outside of the cone with the cooking spray.5) With dry clean rag place the cone on the axle6) With your clean dry hands push the boot over the cone. If your hands are not clean and dry use a dry shop towel around the boot.7) Once the boot is over the cone. Remove the cone.8) Reverse the cv boot by pushing it inside out. Keep in mind that the narrow portion needs to be out all way even though it may not look that way.
