I'm starting an Etsy bracelet making bracelet and this has been the perfect starting kit! I have not had any problems with the quality of string, and enjoy working with it. The gold and silver is a little thicker and harder to work with but still great! The threader did break on me but aside from that everything has been great quality. The gold and silver string is STUNNING. I have not really used the pens and had to toss them, so if your traveling be aware to not have them in there because they can leak. Its smaller than you think but there is a LOT of string and beautiful color choices. 1000% worth it, if your thinking about it, get it. The clippers also work great! Left a mason jar for sizing lmao. There's really no going wrong with this kit. I love the way the tiers stack and can be moved, and they lock in place very sturdily. The plastic is a little thin, but that makes it flexible so it doesn't feel like it'll break. Comes with a bunch of extras like snips, a measuring tape, and thimbles, which is nice.I actually only bought this for the storage box, expecting to give the off-brand floss to my nephews to play with, but the floss is actually really nice quality! It has a sheen just like DMC, and comes all pre-wound and numbered. It's a pretty close match as far as colors too: so much so that it could work to replace DMC in small projects that don't call for more than one skein per color.Really pleased with this purchase, and will be buying again for a gift!

This summer we were headed to Cape Cod for a quarantine vacation. Three weeks in paradise, but no friends or family to play with. I bought this kit to give my daughter something to do while we were relaxing reading books and living the life of vacation off the grid. She LOVED it. The colors were perfect, it was a great starter kit. While it isn't the strongest plastic, it stored all the floss in an orderly way and made it easy to travel with. Prior to this we had big ziplock bags full of loose floss that would get tangled and disorganized. We have since bough additional empty floss holder kits, more floss bobbins and even a bobbin winder. This is a great gift! Perfect in every way.

I am already in love with this. Even though the lid was cracked when I first opened it, I love the color selection, the extra needles, and how organized it really is. I also love that you can buy more layers if this is not enough for you or if you already have thread bobbins. I'm a beginner cross stitcher and this is going to help me with so much! I just wish it was a bit stronger for the plastic because now I worry about it breaking.

I was surprised by how much there was in the kit. Every color you want is there.
