These umbrellas are sturdy with thick, durable fabric. I bought five.After one blazing summer in California's high desert plains area, the color has not faded from the fabric and these umbrellas are standing up well to the regular high winds.One problem, though. After three months, the chord (internal) that lifts the shade when you crank the handle broke. On inspection, you could see it had been rubbing on the joint that allows you to tilt the umbrellas (another nice feature). It was unrepairable.I immediately emailed BLUU with the issue and received a reply the next day. The employee that helped me, Livia, paid close attention to my concerns.I had questions and she had answers. There was a 12 hour lag between emails, but I'm guessing she (BLUU) are located in China or East Asia. Anyway - despite the lag - my questions/emails were never ignored and all my questions were answered.As stated earlier, this item was not repairable. Livia offered a replacement, free of charge (a good indicator of the company and employee). However - the color needed to match the other umbrellas I had purchased was unavailable for a direct replacement. (Can't have four beige umbrellas and one blue or orange... lol)After explaining my predicament, Livia offered to upgrade my purchase to a higher product category that was a color match. (WOW !!) After my agreement, I received my upgraded replacement within two days. I am so happy with my purchase and my interaction with Livia and BLUU.Whenever these umbrellas wear out, I am going straight back to BLUU to buy some more.It's getting harder and harder to find good companies that sell good products and also have great employees. This is one of those finds...

Good size, good color. Would buy again

Most important Pro: This is a hard-to-find an Olefin fabric Market Umbrella. Check the fabric content which appears as you click through the color choices to be sure your color is Olefin and not polyester, waterproof fabric, etc. which may have been treated with PFAS. I ordered beige and it is Olefin. Perfect!Another Pro: Well constructed, easy to put up and down by turning a crank style mechanism, and heavy duty build. Velco tabs at the end of each umbrella section for hanging lights, etc. around the perimeter.The product states that "olefin fabric blocks 95% of harmful sun rays." This is why I wanted an umbrella.Con: Made in China

This product is reasonably priced for the fabric used but it was the customer service that impressed. The shade provided by the umbrella is generous and happily lets some light through though, it seems, not the damaging UVs.

This has been outdoors for several years and has not faded or deteriorated in any way. This is a quality blue umbrella that I am very happy with and would recommend.

Nice heavy material with no fading and my baking heat, but one had an arm break. Just snap. Ugh. Missed return window due to new baby. The umbrellas must have big big big bases (which I bought). They are extremely stable and don’t budge in our gusty winds. They line my pool deck to shade the water for the grandbabies. I bought 4.

Patio. Color is as advertised. Set up easy.

Originally bought for our new deck, where it fits well but needs to be moved around as the sun moves. All of which is made easier by the addition of the BLUU water/sand filled base. Heavy enough, but easy to move!We also use it around our lower patio area where it fits well with our furniture. When tilted it keeps us in the shade perfectly.Up/down winding mechanism and simple tilt are easy to use.We had a minor fault in our canopy and contacted customer service (by text), they were immediately responsive and helpful and quickly dispatched a replacement. So easy to deal with and so friendly.When used with a table is very robust, when freestanding I don't know how resilient to a good wind it would be, so we just remember to close it up each time we have finished with itI'm pretty sure that we'll be buying a second umbrella for the new deck.We are very happy with the product and would recommend, especially at this price, very good value.
