Q: Where do I put the earth on the unit?

All connections inside are marked accordingly, L =Live N=Neutral E=Earth

Q: What wire does it need

Personally, I used 2.5mm armoured cable with CW20s Cable Glands for SWA Armoured Cable (Suitable for Outdoor Use) Ideal for Use with Outdoor Sockets and Junction Boxes.

Q: Does it come with raw plugs ?

I had the double socket but as far as I can recall it did have the raw plugs

Q: Does require one power cable in or two power cable in

it depends on the load you are going to use from the socket, 2 cable feed means you are on a ring main which should be backed up by a 30 amp fuse or 32 amp MCB , one cable feed is a spur circuit which should be backed up by a 15 amp fuse or a 16 amp MCB, both types of circuit should be wired with 2.5 mm twin and earth cable.
