The calcium citrate capsules are small enough to be easy to swallow, but so small that it needs four (4) to reach the required daily amount of calcium.

Excellent product, at my age, a good Calcium supplement is a MUST! Highly recommend!!

My doctor recently told me I have to increase my calcium intake. I ordered a different kind first but practically gag on them. They are big and round and not coated with anything to make them easier to swallow, as far as I can tell. This brand is what I will buy from now on. I can't begin to tell you what a difference these capsules make. And they are calcium citrate, which is one of the two types my doctor said to buy. (The other is coral calcium.) FYI, he told me to stay away from calcium carbonate because it is not absorbed as easily.

Not sure if it works up to its promise of being better for me

It has calcium serving size of 500 mg. That seems to be the ideal amount. Anything more than that is apparently a waste of calcium.

Capsules are fairly large, but easy to swallow. The combo of the citrate carbonate and malate is a good one. Allows for a gradual absorption of the calcium. I like the fact that each capsule is a fairly low dose (250mg). I can take more or less calcium according to my lab results. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn't contain vitamin D. I already take a good sized dose of D3 and don't need to add more. Good product. I will continue to purchase.

Supplement recommended by my physician. Easy to get and easy to swallow.

These are capsules, not tablets, and that makes them easy to swallow. The size and texture of tablets make them hard to swallow.
