I ordered one of each color. The "black" one appears to just be an older version of the brown. It's thicker, clunkier and heavier and it runs a bit slower than the brown. The "black" one has a chunky white back panel, the brown one is sleek and black and overall looks better and is easier to hold and maneuver. The mat on the brown is an actual beveled piece of plastic, the mat on the black one is just part of the screen. Not a huge deal, but aesthetically the brown is a much better looking piece of equipment. They should make it more clear in the description that these are two different products, not just different colors. The "black" one also came scratched, which just adds to the disappointment.

Digital frames have come a long way in the last several years and I consider this frame an excellent buy. Got it for $90 during prime day.Pros: Easy for friends and family to put photos on remotely. The app is easy to use and you only need provide a code one time for people to remotely send photos to your frame. Only the owner can remove the photos and they are not stored anywhere other than the frame. Within minutes of opening the box I was able to send pictures to the frame from my phone. The resolution is great and touchscreen is responsive (not laggy). Menu and other options are easily accessible from the touchscreen. The frame itself looks great and not plastic like others. Colors and images are sharp. Easily changes from landscape to portrait when turning the frame similar to an ipad or smartphone.Cons: The app asks you to move a circle on the portion of the photo you are sending that you want centered. Can be a little annoying when sending many photos, but I understand the feature.Overall very happy with the purchase and will make an excellent gift.

I've purchased two of these. One for my mother and one for my own home.If you can use an app on a cell phone you can set this up in 5 minutes.The picture quality is clear and crisp, and the adjustable brightness let's you customize it to the light level on your room.It's great as a gift. Got one for my mother and gave the code to all my siblings, she gets a constant stream of grandkid pictures everyday on display in the living room.Yes you could just send them to their phone or social media. But it's so much nicer to have them on display where they are actually seen.

Like many other reviewers, I got my frame as a Christmas gift 2020. It quit working suddenly June 2020. At least mine lasted a little longer than some, but only 6 months is pathetic. No contact info for Bihiwoai. The small manual doesn't even have the company spelled [email protected] (they omitted the 'o'). There is no reset button.Frameo doesn't take responsibility because they are just the app for adding photos.I just bought one in May for my mom before it quit working and now I regret it.

9/19. Another update. After at least 5 emails to the “customer” service department I finally told them that I was going to give this product a bad review on Amazon which I did. They must have understood me when I said that. They finally sent me another picture frame. I do appreciate that I finally got the frame but trying to communicate with this company was not enjoyable. Because of the terrible customer service, I would not recommend this product, which is very sad because I absolutely loved it when it was siding correctly.Update to original reviewMy internet went out and when it came back up my frame would not connect back to my internet. I contacted the company email MULTIPLE times and asked them to help me resolve the issue. I did what they said multiple times. Resetting it, trying to connect it to my hot spot, etc. Nothing worked. They will not send me another frame which I would be happy with. Nor will they give me a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.Love love love. If you are looking for a present for your mother do not hesitate buy this now. It is awesome and so easy to use.

Pros:Easy to set-up (5 minutes)Easy to use appAnyone with the app and code can send pictures. (For example, we bought this picture frame for my mother for Christmas. We did take it out of the box before Christmas so that we could have pictures pre-installed on the device. After starting the device and connecting it to Wi-Fi, I was able to download the app on my phone, tell my sister and brothers to download the app on their phone, and provide a code for each of them. We were then able to fill the device with multiple photos from different locations around the United States so my mother would be able to plug the device in on Christmas and already have content on the device.)Good picture qualityTouch screen works wellability to pinpoint the most important aspect of the picture for landscape or portrait modes.Cons:Frame does feel to be made with cheap plasticWould like some additional features on the app such as the ability to make changes to the settings on the frame and being able to delete pictures from the frame. It would also be nice to see what the picture looks like on the frame from your phone. There are certain pictures where you will have to delete the picture from the frame as the picture is slightly cut off.Overall, I would highly recommend this frame to anybody.

That this device expects you to have a Wi-Fi connection all the time.It expects you to set up a wireless connection, and it is made to look like you can not do anything otherwise However, if you ignore it and bypass it, you still are able to export pictures from a sd card. Only that it flashes a message about the lack of wireless connectivity.The screen arrived malfunctioning, and we returned it right away. The touch screen had 4 blue and one purple horizontal lines on the bottom that persisted on every screen and picture.
