QUIET & IT WORKS!
I have tried others and found too much line noise and loud clicking when changed. I Bi-Amp a lot and find this box to be a very efficient solution to selecting either amp 1, amp 2 or both and the switching is quiet and no line hum.Cost's a little more than a Morely, but in my opinion, well worth it.

Quality Control?
I have two of these, made in the USA, and they are superb in fidelity and tone. They have a softer , and very pleasant tube-like sound. The new one I ordered is made in China, and while I have impecable equipment made in China, there is an ongoing quality control issue with chinese made product.. Quality and product integrity and specifications and dimension tolerances, depend very crucially on the american or european parent manufacturers supervision of their Chinese contractors production facilities. In this case the pedal came defective and would not switch from both channels on. A basic very easy to detect deffect that was not spotted. I returned it and ordered an Radial twin city ABY, that came in perfect working order and is just as hi-fi in a more detailed manner with more bass response. I still use my USA whirlwind selector, that still works after about 15 years or so...

Used by Satriani and Bonamassa.
I use it to change between the normal and top boost channels in my Vox AC30 and works perfectly! After take a look into the rig of Joe Satriani and Joe Bonamassa i decided to bought it with totally blindfold!

It works and is quiet, but it wasn't truly transparent.
I have had this pedal for a long time (early 90s) and it works fine, for switching channels without an audible click. The part that I have always had a problem with though, is when I play on a clean channel, I did notice a "tone suck" - the sound seems a little deadened, especially when the box is sending the signal to both outputs at once.Whirlwind might have changed the design since the early 90s, but if not, the current version might have that issue. It's subtle, but it was enough to bother me!
