Provides Texture, Softness.
I have 4C hair type and it's hard for me to find a product that works. I've tried so many different type of shampoo and conditioner and everytime I get disappointed and left with dry scalp full of dandruff. This Shampoo does so much for my hair, it makes my hair soft and make the texture of my hair pop! It smells AMAZING!, great quality and the worth the every penny.

This is my favorite Shampoo.
I bought a 10 oz bottle of this shampoo at Walmart for $9. I was trying it out, so I figured it would be worth a shot. I like it a lot, and it all lasted me about 1.5-2 months. I tried a couple shampoos (from competitors)after it, and found that my hair would get oiler with the others, and didn't feel as good after I washed it.Using this shampoo I can go about 4-5 days with out showering and not even notice any diffence with my hair, other than my scalp getting a little oily. I use less water, I guess.I don't use wash out conditioner, I use the spray on and leave in kind. I'm not high maintenance, so frankly I can use a bar of dove soap in my hair and be happy with the results. Dove is pretty great at creating a fantastic product. This is a great deal though! I bought two 32oz bottles.

Leaked in package
The top of the bottle was not screwed on tightly. There was leakage in the package. As for the shampoo, it is a low lather product but a decent product.

Not Bad
I decided to try this shampoo after Sexy Hair discontinued their Beach Wave shampoo (still have a bone to pick about it). I used it with 8 second wonder water as a light conditioner. Then while hair was still soaking wet, I used the following: wide tooth comb, scrunch lightly, John Frieda dream curls serum liberally, scrunch lightly, John Frieda curl foam, scrunch lightly, then a spritz of John Frieda dream curls spray, then….you guessed it, scrunch lightly. The texture shampoo gave me a solid base to work with and I’ll probably buy again, but I’d like to find a different conditioner to use with it.

Made hair soft but limp
If "texture" means "makes the hair look more voluminous," thiis product does not do that. The product description says "texture" many times, but my hair got LESS voluminous after being washed with this shampoo. This shampoo does not lather up as much as many other shampoos I've used. My hair came out softer than usual. Even though I use Paul Mitchell's Round Trip curl definer, this time,my curls were not as well defined as previous uses with other shampoos. The past week's weather has been humid so maybe that had an effect as well, but I don't like this shampoo making my hair limp.

Used bottles, not new
I thought I was buying new bottles. These bottles have obviously been used. They came in a zip lock bag, the shampoo screw top had been released and was taped down. There are ditty fingerprints on the shampoo bottle. The conditioner screw top was down but looks like it had been screwed back down after opening as there is product in the pump and on bottle. There are security tags, and a store tag. I can't trust that this product was not tampered with, and will not use it. The thought of using a product on my hair that has been in someone else's home is disgusting.
