Let's state the obvious not a air conditioning unit.so your not going to have super cold air and they are not cheap to run.going back to this Dose what a fan dose blows air 3 speeds. But added touch has water going through it little pump pushes water up to the top trickles down back through a filter back in to container .added bonus you can put ice blocks that come with it. To keep water cooler which helps to blow out colder air which is what I was looking for. If you compare a ordanary fan to this you definitely feel the difference. I did have a problem with one unit got in contact with seller no questions asked sent me a replacement straight away. Advise just check rubber bung in bottom of container make sure its pushed in properly and try it out side first with water just to make sure no leaks. And when you want to empty water out lift unit over sink take rubber bung out in container and let it drain out. Excellent for what I wanted 👏

I have used this fan once and followed all the instructions using cold water, ice and the packs provided after freezing them, but find that the performance and quality is not adequate for the intended purpose.You cannot feel any cool or cold air at all, though if you put your hand right on top of the grill there is a little coolness. In fact, it only seemed to increase the temperature in the room. Our ordinary room fans seem cooler, even though they are only circulating the warm air.It uses the water very quickly with in about 2 hours.Not sure what would happen to the cooler if you fell asleep and did not check the water levels.The ice packs do not stay frozen for very long.The instructions tell you how to put it together and turn on, but not enough about how long the water lasts, what happens if it gets to low or high.I wasn’t expecting miracles and cold air like an air con but I really hoped that this would give some relief and cool the room a little, to help us sleep more comfortable.Though it is not heavy it would benefit from handles to move it around safely.I was absolutely and totally disappointed.And have returned it to amazon for a refund.

Super, excellent cooler, great price

Hi when buying this item dont think for one second this is a air conditioner it's far far from one. It's simply a fan cooler all this does is suck water from bottom to top of unit and then falls down into a tray which then trickles and I mean trickle into a paper style mesh which puts cool water onto then the fan sucks air and blows out that's the main purpose this item does.Negative comments well to be honest unless you have a endless supply of ice not worth buying yes blows a little cool air out but not a lot this is a lot of money for what this really is played £70 realistically should be around £35 to £40 mark it's just a glorified fan however it does blow cooler air out if you modify it slightly which I did. Basically all you do is at the back of the unit you will see two screws unscrew them take back cover off and take out the green filter with this out if you look at the top you will see holes tiny infact all you do is take a Phillip's screw driver and twist and push and you make the holes bigger which in turn allows more cool water to come through and trickle down green mesh for the fan to suck cool air through hope this helps anyone who brought this already and for those who considering buying all I will say is consider other options first before making a quick buy as I did because is hot weather.The product is good dont get me wrong but definitely over priced for what it is and doesSorry :(P.s buy a lot of ice packs you only get two ice gel packs with item and they dont last very long I recommend buying cubed ice and putting in tray with water but remember ice melts and if your not careful will over fill and then you have water everywhere :(

Used this product to cool the living room down when it gets to hot.

Easy to use but we have a stand alone basicfan quieter and more effective. Bit of a waste of money the blocks defrost very quickly nor really giving any cooling benefit at all. Just a posher looking appliance taking up more room. Not impressed
