How comfortable are the straps with it fully packed during a long day of international travel?

Hi... well the straps are very confortable and easy to carry... also if you fully atached the bagpack to you will be perfectly  secure.... just a note to consider after you loaded i mean full loaded will be so heavy not because the pack the weight  and how confortable is will depend of how much gear you load in it...in mine fully loaded is heavy af and the pack is big bro i can fit 12 lenses  3 flashes... all batteries... and chargers memory cards ..filters and even (2)64led lights and a sony a mount dslr so honestly if planning a travel  just decide how much gear you will load

it sait it comes with a rain cover ..but it is made with fabric or zippers to repeal the rain or water resistent with out the rain cover???

How wide is the flap on the bottom portion of the bag? Also, what is the interior depth? I am trying to see if this bag would be suitable for fishing.

The bag is suitable for a fishing trip, but will not carry any poles, you can probably find a specialty case to put where the camera would normally go on the bottom. As far as size is as large enough to accommodate a lot.

Does this fit the size requirements to be a carry on? I don't want to risk losing my gear, so I need something that i can bring with me on plane!

Firstly, you will not lose your carry-on luggage if it doesn’t fit the requirements of carry-on. He’ll check it as checked in luggage. I’ve had it happen to me a few times with oversized bags for carry-on. I’m pretty sure that camera bag does fit the requirement because I have a large carry-on Case that’s about twice the size of the bag that is eligible to be a carry-on item. The concern they have is the fit underneath your seat, or in the overhead bin which has a specific size requirement. But don’t worry about losing your bag. They’ll just check it into the luggage compartment if it doesn’t fit  under the seat or in the bin.
