Not much can be said about little clips that are OEM from Toyota. Rather new or aged, as soon as you have to remove the grill of your truck, they are going to break. I took a chance on these because Toyota are dicks and will not sell you those clips unless they are ones installing them. NAPA's type were extremely flimsy and did the job for the short term. These clips are as thick if not thicker than the originals. Nothing is better than when you align your grill and with a push you hear the click that we all want to hear and can feel the grill is utterly secure. The grill of your truck has to be the one part that takes the most beating when you are going down the road. Day in and day out. Most grills are not that well built that are stock. How those plastic braces do it I will never know. These are extremely well done clips for the job. Grab a bag and put them somewhere, then you will never have the issue of not wanting to remove your grill to do some work on your truck.

Excellent replacement for OEM grill clips. For me, had to replace the radiator in 96 4 Runner. when I removed the grill I noticed several clips were bad, and the service from Toyota (sometime in past had broken support grill arm). Decided to buy new clips for after radiator install. These worked perfectly. Would recommend.

Glad I ordered a few extra. They were a bit more brittle than the ones they replaced and I broke a couple reinstalling the grille. That could be me too.. I did have to apply a little force to get everything to pop in just so. I would buy again.

Outstanding product. I have 3 3rd generation 4Runners and having previously purchased a different set of these from another seller that didn't meet the dimensions or quality I was looking for, I was leery of anything but OEM from Toyota. I read the reviews for this item, good and bad and took a chance. I am glad I did, these are good to excellent quality, strong and fit tight in the grill as well as into receptacle body/frame. Hopefully for those that read reviews this will provide another positive view. Understanding perhaps quality does affect the end product that others saw I would give this seller the chance to make it "right" should they not meet your needs. Gladly they did in my case. Ahh, Tacomas...love them but there are little things that get you. My front grille had been held on with baling wire and nylon tie wraps for some time. When I finally found these it was a quick job to rip out the old mess, attach the clips and snap it into place. The only thing to look out for is whether any damage had ever been done to the supports under the hood. Hold was good and I didn't break any in the process.These did the trick and were definitely a deal as Toyota often either charges a fortune or doesn't have things like this in stock anymore.

There are plenty of good reviews for this product, but it didn't just didn't work for me. I had to put my only three old, worn, somewhat intact clips back on because the none of the new ones would hold. They were too small to catch onto the frame, and they are also a little flimsy. They aren't cut well, meaning several of the clips have a plastic "lip" or burr hanging off the body, which might mean sloppy mold design. I noticed that the clips in the photo are subtly different than the ones I got. That makes me think the seller changed manufacturers, and maybe that's why they fell right off of my car when everybody has been saying they're so great.

Exact fitment for my 1999 4Runner SR5. I started to remove the grille in conjunction with a valance replacement, realized that it wasn't necessary, but already had four of seven clips broken, so got these and replaced them all. Perfect fit, easy to reassemble. Super value, knowing that you can be a bit rough with removing the old ones because you've got a full baggie of new ones to use.

good price for the clips, but did not fit my 96 Toyota Tacoma, even though it said it would. Too late to return. They are not universal.

Too small not as advertised garbage

Look similar. But slightly too small.

They’re not at all like the factory retainers. No shoulder means they don’t snap into the mounting holes. Basically threw my money in the garbage
