Q: want to use on shower curtain, how do these weights attach? thank you

They have to be sewn into the hem or maybe on a shower curtain you could use a hot glue gun. They are really light weight, I bought them for my curtains and ended up throwing them all out because they do not even weigh 1 oz each.

Q: How much do these weights weigh? Either each or per package?

Amazon's "Product Information" section says that 12 of them weigh 6.24 ounces, so each one would weigh about 1/2 ounce. Too light for my purposes.

Q: This might sound silly but....Do you think that a safety pin could be used to clip these to the inside of a dress?

Yes. There's enough cloth for a safety pin.

Q: Can they be used with outdoor curtains? Will the lead bleed when wet and stain curtain?

hi- I don't think these should bleed. I put mine on my curtain bottom in the garage, as a privacy curtain when door is open. These are pretty heavy weight and the lead material should not bleed, they are covered by a fabric layer too. I used my hot glue gun to attach and it worked great! I hope this helps
