Q: Does this clean the slimy gunk on the rubber collar?

Unfortunately, that's a "No". But personally, I had no illusions that it might. So I simply put on a Plastic Food Prep Glove, Pull out the Rubber Disposal Collar and Soak it in a Simple Green solution for :30 Min. Follow this with a quick Rinse & "Paper Towel Scrub" and it's Like New again! Good Luck.

I've used almost the entire package over the last few months, with running got water and NONE of the pods have foamed. And I don't smell that the disposal was clean either.yes, I got in there and smelled.

Q: Mold smell in my drain. Will this kill mold?

Yes it really takes care of all the things that make your disposal smell. After I use it, I also use Bio Conqueror 105 Lemon (1 QUART BOTTLE) | which you can also get off Amazon. Poor some of that down the drain and disposal stays fresh. I do both weekly.
