It's definitely coffee. Is it the most lux cup of coffee I've ever had? No. But the value of this stuff is excellent. It's not bad by any means, definitely solid in its taste. And sooo much of it.

This is the best coffee I've ever had in a very long time. Folgers just has a bitter taste to me. This is the first coffee I gave found that has no bitter taste and is smooth totally recommend

Chock Full o’Nuts is "medium strong", and not that bold. But I brew it with adding about 1/3 more to get a bolder , darker coffee. I agree with another reviewer that it is on " the light side." Overall i am happy with the taste. I like that the packaging is the steel can. I've given away cans,, since they make very good garage storage, or bird seed cans. since it is 100% recycleable steel . Or... just recycle it.

This is more of a mild roast with a light, tasty hazelnut flavor. It is not as fine of a grind but still makes a very good cup of coffee. It does not taste like artificial hazelnut which is something I avoid. I made it with a little more than 1Tbsp of grounds per cup since it is mild. I also used it in a refillable K cup and it was delicious and way better than most pre-filled k cups. I will definitely buy again.

It comes in a good-sized metal can that keeps the coffee fresh and is recyclable. And the decaf coffee inside tastes wonderful. As the old TV commercial used to say, Chock full o’Nuts is that heavenly coffee; better coffee a millionaire's money can't buy.

I am not a coffee snob. I just want a hot dose of caffeine. I don't care if it's from some special mountain or if it pooped out of a civet cat or if some witchdoctor prayed over it. If it's strong enough to stand up a spoon on its own, fine by me.That being said, I never tried this stuff. I guess I was never attracted to it based on the name alone. I never understood how nuts could improve coffee. If you are an existing customer, and, I imagine, quite a loyal one, you probably hate this attitude, but sorry, I never tried the stuff based on the name and what it implied.Out of curiosity, I looked it up and was surprised to see a ton of reviews from pleased customers, so I figured I would try it out. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised! Chock Full is better than I figured it would be. Much smoother than my Folgers Black Silk or French Roast or the Sams or Costco stuff I've been using.So I intend to make Chock Full a part of my pantry from here on out. Plus, I gotta add the price seems decent and I appreciate the steel can packaging. I prefer that to plastic and it's handy for all the excess hardware floating around my garage and toolshed.
