When you need it, it works
Sometimes you run across docks that have missing or broken cleats and that is when this thing shines. The video on how to use them is helpful, and the key works as advertised. I even came back and bought a second key. One thing, they work best with braided docking line (slides better through the rings), although you can use them with 3 strand nylon docking lines as long as they are not too thick. Big boats with big mooring lines probably can't and/or shouldn't use them.

I've only had to use it once... but
I only had to use it once.. but it was a when I really needed it and it was a game changer to have on hand. Solid design and product. thank you

Great Docking tool
More and more I find many docks missing cleats to tie off my boat. This is a great tool and I have already used it. Hard to believe no one thought of this before. Completely satisfied.
