There is a 3 way jack/input area that clearly indicates which input is for which. So there is a headphone icon for where you insert your headphone, and a mic icon for where you insert the second mic should you need to use it.The cord is very long, so if you want to set up your camera on a tripod and record an interview or something, the cord will definitely be long enough for at least half of your body showing in the frame.The clip loosely holds the mic in place, but it doesn't fall out of place. You then clip that onto your shirt. Even if you turn your head, the voice doesn't fade out because the mic is clipped to your shirt.FINAL THOUGHTS: it's a great item. I've used it to record some videos and i love the result. Since there is a clip, you don't have to worry about the mic not catching your voice since the mic will always be within your voice range as opposed to using the mic on your phone. On your phone, the moment you turn away, the voice fades. With this product there is no fear of that.I highly recommend this item for beginners who do not yet want to invest in a large sound sensitive mic. The value and quality is definitely worth it!!

This mic is awesome. First of all, can we talk about how long this cord is. Literally the best part of this thing. As for audio quality, it does great. Super clean audio with the ability to enhance. I've been using it fr youtube videos and the quality couldn't be better. I appreciate it comes with extra covers and the storage bag is great. I've been using this on all my videos.There is a nice clip where you turn the mic on and off and it's made of metal, so the durability is a plus. Decent amount of cord between the mic and the switch, so you have a lot of options for placement. All in all, this was a great purchase and I recommend it to anyone looking for a lapel wired mic. Amazing mic

This mic did *not* do what I wanted it to do. BUT that was more the issue with my MacBook Air than it was the mic. I wanted to be able to use the lavalier mic *and* the laptop's internal speakers (instead of a mic+headphone combo) for all day virtual school. This will not work if you are using the MacBook Air due to the way the 3.5mm jack works. When plugged in, the MacOS assumes both mic and headphones and disables the internal mic and internal speakers. If you want to use this mic for recording only, it will work. Just unplug to play it back. But if you want to use the mic and the internal speakers it will not work using the 3.55mm jack.I did get this setup to work however with the USB lavalier mic by the same manufacturer. The USB mic draws its own power and does not need batteries. The MacOS also identifies it as a mic separately from the audio out so you can select the external mic while keeping the internal speakers in the settings panel.The only reason I'm not returning this 3.5mm jack lavalier mic is that it ALSO happens to be compatible with my video camera. The USB version is NOT compatible with the video camera.WHY would I have two virtually identical mics with different connectors? These mics are so inexpensive that I would pay almost the same price just for the 3.5mm jack to USB adaptor and even then... I'm not entirely sure it would work how I wanted. So, now I have nearly identical lavalier mics one with a 3.5mm TRRS jack for my video camera (and DSLR) and another with USB for my laptop. I hope this review helps you.

**EDIT**After letting my son play with this, he pointed out that USER ERROR caused my problems, meaning that it was my fault. This mic is designed for jacks which combine both a microphone and headphone jack into one jack, such as phones and tablets, as described in the item description. My voice recorder and computer don't have those types of jacks, but with the proper adapter, the microphones worked as advertised in my recorder and computer, and they worked great in my phone without an adapter. These not only work as advertised, but the sound quality is exceptional. I will leave my original review for those who might make the same mistake I made to learn from.**Original Review**I didn't use this for the first time until the return period was over, but when I did, only one of the microphones worked. The other did not work in either my sound recorder or my computer. It was the mic that included the y-adapter jack for the second mic and the headphones. The second mic worked as a standalone mic, and it worked when plugged into the y-adapter, but the first mic never worked. The second mic works well as a mono recorder.

No vídeo eu mostro o acabamento do qual não gostei muito, quanto ao som achei ok.Para quem não sabe inglês, no manual vem as instruções para quem for usar no celular Android. Para funcionar é necessário instalar o App Open Câmera - Abrir - Configurações - Configurações de vídeo - Fonte de áudio - Microfone Externo (se existir)Depois é só gravar, lembrando que para gravar no seu smartphone tem que deixar na opção OFF/ smartphone.Espero ter ajudado😉

Encore un micro Lavalier de bonne qualité avec un son très propre. Je suis satisfait de cet achat.Je ne connaissais pas cette marque mais visiblement elle produit de bons appareils.

Me encanta lo bien que suena la voz con este micro.Me gusta que se filtran muchos sonidos del ambiente, el micro se centra en captar tu voz y quitar el resto y realmente lo hace muy bien.Viene con pinza, viene con una pila y otra de recambio.Los cables son muy muy largos.Viene con adaptador de mini-jack a jack.Todo genial.
