Based on the pictures shown as color options, birch and ivory are different colors but the colors would be complementary. That is why they are referred to as 'mix and match'.

Q: Does the size shrink after a wash and dry? One of the reviews indicated a king size fit the queen mattress after washing.

If you look at the dimensions a Queen and king are the same width (120) the king is longer than the queen

Q: Does it come with shams ?

No, but they they were available separately when I purchased my coverlet.
