The only non-oily, decent scrub, that doesn't immediately melt away
I use scrubs daily to help keep my keratosis pillaris in check. I don't care for most products developed for KP specifically they all smell terrible to me so I opt for scrubs that are more abrasive as opposed to ones that use acids. I often suffer through using one lavender-scented scrub after another, seriously, there are too many lavender scrubs and I don't like the smell of those either. More recently more scents have been coming out but they often smell sickeningly sweet or salty. One of them smelled like cotton candy and it was supposedly dragon fruit scented. I find most scrubs are just not good scents so I look more for ones that are tolerable. This scrub is tolerable. It's a very different scent! It says it's hibiscus scented and it has "black cumin" (i.e. Nigella/Kalonji). The ingredients also list Pina Colada. I don't smell and Pina Colada in it and the hibiscus is extremely faint to the point you can't really distinguish it unless you are really searching for it. The smell I get from this reminds me of crayons. Crayon wax with any papers, those have their own smell. This smells like faintly scented crayon wax and it feels a little waxy going on. I can live with the crayon smell. It's not great, but it's also not terrible or sickening. The Nigella is coursely ground and there is sugar in this. The nigella seeds create a longer lasting scrubbing agent while the sugar dissolves. The two at first make for a nice strong abrasive to start and then the sugar melts away into your skin (the moisturizing potion) while the nigella continues to provide abrasive scrubbing. I have no idea how that affects drains and sewer treatment plants. I know microbeads are terrible for the environment and the treatment plants but I don't know how nigella seeds fare. What I do know is this works amazingly on my skin. This is the only sugar/salt scrub I've ever used that doesn't just make an oily mess. Usually they leave your skin very oily and they leave a thin coating of oil on the tub making it slippery and dangerous. This doesn't do that. Whatever oils they use must be well emulsified into the blend so that they are not able to separate and leave a coating anywhere. The waxiness of the scrub washes away after use and there doesn't seem to be any waxy coatings left on skin or tub either. I also find that because it doesn't just immediately wash away or melt away into the skin, I don't need to use as much and it lasts longer while scrubbing. I know the price is higher than most scrubs but I use a lot less so over time it saves money because you don't need to use as much to get the job done.

Highly Moisturizing But Doesn't Smell All That Great
If I could break this down to star subsets, I'd give it a full 5 stars for effectiveness, but only 1 star for scent. Hence, why I give this a 4 star review. This is a bright raspberry pink body scrub. Great consistency and has plenty of granules to give you a very thorough scrubbing. Just the right size and it's thick in grain. They stick together rather than falling all over the place when trying to move a bit to your skin. It's also very rich in emollients. So much so that you will get a wonderful moisturization treatment that holds up well even after rinsing. Those are the things that are the most important and this body scrub excels there. However, they totally lost it when it came to attention of scent. I was really hoping for a nicely scented body scrub since I find the aromatherapy aspects of a good body scrub part of the enjoyment. It's not just that I didn't like this particular scent. One might prefer the scent of oranges over that of apples. No, it's not that. It's that this stuff just out and out smells bad. Not even like something that anyone might find pleasant. Though I can't identify what it is that I'm smelling; and yes, you do smell something; it has more of a chemical smell than what one might use to enhance their bathroom or body with. Just horrible. If they would just go back to the drawing board and rework that scent, they would have a wonderful full out 5 star product. Till then, that one star will remain elusive.

Super Soft Skin Without The Greasy Feel
The Teami Smooth Body Scrub is the best exfoliating polish my wife has ever tried. The jar is filled to the brim with a deep magenta scrub that's moist without being greasy. It has a strong pleasant aroma-- perhaps a combination of pina colada and hibiscus. It glides on skin, turning pink during the massaging process. It feels both soothing and exhilarating as it sloughs off dead skin cells without irritation. It rinses cleanly leaving skin feeling super soft and smooth without any greasy effects. In fact, up until now my wife has never used a scrub that didn't leave some residual oil behind. This is a first. It's a scrub you can use anytime for instant hydration while providing a clean feeling on the skin. The manufacturers got the oil ratio right on this one making this the perfect exfoliating body polish.Be aware, there is a warning on the label: "The safety of this product has not been determined". For my wife--so far so good.Made in Florida~ Kort

Not greasy
Review for: Teami Smooth Body Scrub - Nourishing & Non-Oily Exfoliating Body Scrub - Every Day Use Gentle Sugar Scrubs for Women & Men - Body Exfoliator Eliminates Dead Skin Cells for Glowing Skin (8oz)I love a good body scrub and this one is probably the best I have ever used. It does a nice job of exfoliating and scrubbing and feels fantastic while doing so. It is not greasy or oily so doesn’t leave a nasty tub or shower to clean after use. The product is very grainy and a bright magenta color. It only takes a small amount to run across the skin to get the experience that you want. The scrub is a bit expensive but is also a very good quality product.

Smells absolutely terrible - rancid and a terrible scrub !
Absolute hard no for me - went straight in the trash! Maybe I got a bad batch but it smelled TERRIBLE! Like stomach churning terrible. A mix of rancid putty and oil! I would not dare to put this anywhere near my body. The texture was also terrible - a greasy putty with very little scrub! I prefer a drier scrub that actually has some exfoliation propertiesFinally the price !! This is not a known premium brand. - and even if it it smelled good it’s not a good scrub!Cannot get past the awful smell! Had to wash the heck off my hand to get rid of the terrible rancid ness!!
