This is a review for Mayfair 1470FZ 000 TruComfort ELONGATED Toilet Seat and from this vendor in 2022. We still have it and are looking for another one. Unfortunately, this vendor is out.When I first saw this, I thought they might know something about the topic of physiology.Years ago, I had seen some college kids who were assigned to invent what, I can't remember, but they built a toilet that makes it physically easier and more efficient to go #2. It put a person's body in the same position as a woman giving birth, but without lying down. It made so much sense.I forgot about it until this seat and thought, "Why not?" Boy, am I glad I did.Growing older is not for sissies for sure. Two of those things we may face is meds and/or nerve damage in our lumbar spine, causing us to have constipation.I bought it from this vendor and received it in a timely manner, with the box and seat in perfect condition.It is super easy to install and clean.When you first sit on it, it is very strange, but like most things, we suddenly & soon realize that we are used to whatever it is that we are uncomfortable with.The seat literally situates your body to relax and makes it so easy to go. I have had constipation problems since 2011 or 12, and now it is a breeze. It does so without any discomfort or noticeable rearrangement.We just recently (Dec. 2024) bought a house that has two different styles of toilets and toilet seats. I found that I am suddenly distracted by how different (uncomfortable) they are to this one. I couldn't go, so my husband put in this wonderful toilet seat. My body (I am assuming both legs and ab organs) was not sitting the same as with this seat.Sidenote #1 - I take magnesium with L-Threonate, Glycinate, and Taurate for the different issues I have, and it helps with neurological pain, mood, and heart function, and I am very regular now. So, I have never had it so easy. I found that I can't take it on an empty stomach, though.Sidenote #2: When I go to buy something, I research, research, research. I copied & pasted the title of this seat and entered it into G. At the top of the results page, where they have many thumbnails of the items, prices, and vendors, there was a vendor called "Uber Eats." I smiled, slightly chuckled, and smh while lowering it! I really needed the laugh, too!!!

This toilet seat is 150% PURE COMFORT and is, without a doubt, the HOLY GRAIL of toilet seats ever invented!! As someone who’s slightly overweight that’s also been through 2 major back surgeries, I can’t stress enough how important it is for me to have FOUND the MOST PERFECT, MOST COMFORTABLE toilet seat on the planet!! Because of it’s wide, special ergonomic design, it literally feels like I’m sitting on gel pads!! It’s also super easy to install and took me less than 10 minutes, start to finish!! Do NOT READ another review, just BUY this toilet seat RIGHT NOW because it’s WORTH EVERY PENNY and you will NOT regret your decision!! THANK YOU Mayfair!!

My expectations of this toilet seat were slightly more than reality. It is comfortable to a point. It is definitely not for lengthy stays on the throne. But, so far no other seat is either. It looks great, slightly wider than standard. I would recommend.

I have piriformis triggered nerve and back pain. This seat did the most to alleviate aggravating those issues , much more that the thick padded seat I tried first. I believe the biggest comfort factor is not the gel inserts but the shape of the seat itself. It is more concave than other seats so your weight is more evenly distributed. It feels more like you are sitting in it - not on it. My wife who does not suffer from my issues finds it noticeably moe comfortable than the stock seat that came with the Toto toilet.If they made one in almond we would buy it for our second bathroom and like it so much we are considering getting a white toilet for that bathroom just so we can install this seat.

This is a nice, sturdy and comfortable seat. The cushion is firm but not hard. It does look a bit large at first, but I got used to it. On sale for about $32 it totally worth it.

I just installed this on an elongated Kohler comfort height toilet. The seat is way too big, it covers about 40% of the bowl, leaving a small opening. The seat is comfortable but it's way too big.

Bought two of these because the generic seats that came with the toilets we bought kept sliding and weren’t comfortable. These don’t slip, easy to clean and oh so comfortable!

I admit to falling asleep at night while taking care of busness- sometimes up to 4 hours. When the cheap "padded" seat broke, I went looking for the best. I chose this by reviews. I was first surprised that the whole seat wasn't padded, and the white padding was hard to notice at first.But after a few nights of, um, testing I was very impressed. When it comes to what padding is important, this is the best. Give this a try. I know you're out there...
