Better Hockey Speed Chute - Resistance Parachute for Explosive Power Training - Perfect for Hockey & Running

This was my first time using the chute. It was challenging and worked great! Easy to store and use.

I used this a few times both when there was some wind and not. I found in order to get resistance from this I was already running near a full sprint. Which I am not a pro athlete but just doing sprints at full speed in intervals will do more for you than this. It was easy to get up but to have it create resistance that made it worth its value and hassle of getting this on. Would not recommend.

These days we’re always looking for ways to get a more efficient workout. That’s where these parachutes play a role. The goal is to add resistance to a running environment to strengthen muscles and cardio systems. I’ve been using this with my athletes for a bit and it’s worked great. Easy to put on, effective in use and it’s held up well to the wear and tear. I might need to grab a second one at this point.

The media could not be loaded.  When it comes to exercise and fitness equipment, I believe a product should not just work as it should, but also encourage the person to push their goal to the limit, so with that said, the Better Hockey Speed Chute is a resistance chute for running to help you get a better workout due to the wind resistance provided by chute. The chute is made of strong polyester attached to a nylon strap and belt with a hard plastic snap buckle. It also comes with a nylon bag to store your chute so you can take it with you or store it away until you need it. The provided instructions are simple to read, but not explained in detail on how to use it, as it just shows you the starting stances for when you are about to run when using the chute. The chute seems sturdy and well-made and everything seemed good up to a point. The belt that goes around your waist was small for somebody of my body stature (obese). The belt does manage to close, but there is no slack to secure the belt, plus, the belt should've had some velcro or a metal ring to secure the slack. The bottom line is the chute was NOT made for slightly large people and even with me running as fast as I could, the chute would not open, just dragged behind me, but in all fairness, I guess you can call that resistance. After closer inspection of the product ad, it states "Adjustable high-quality polyester belt fits all sized hockey players and athletes", so there it is. This chute is only made for athletic people and not your average Joe.Overall, the Better Hockey Speed Chute is a sturdy product designed for the athlete in mind and not meant for an average person who just wants to get in shape. The instructions are poor and don't offer any insight into how to use the chute properly. Nonetheless, the chute is still a product worth checking out if you are athletic, but everyone else might want to stay away. Although I would still add a bigger and better adjustable belt, so everyone could enjoy the chute and not just athletes. Below Average. C-

I use this to help my team train. This helps them get faster on their feet. It has been holding up well through about a month of training. Belt is easily adjusted to fit different sizes. It’s your pretty basic parachute. No complaints yet.

It has helped me develop stronger lower body muscles and improve my stride efficiency. While it has been beneficial in my training, it's important to note that individual results may vary depending on personal fitness levels and consistency in using the product. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable and effective training tool to enhance your speed and power for hockey or running, this product is definitely worth considering. Full marks from me!

It's nice to throw something different into the mix with training to keep things interesting. I grabbed this chute with the intention of using it while coaching our under 13 hockey team.A couple of the kids had a chance to use it (each skated a full lap), and they enjoyed trying it out. They noticed the additional resistance, and this seems like a great way to help increase their strength and top end speed.The chute itself worked well, but we did have some issues with the belt. After both laps, the belt had almost completely come undone. The size adjustment didn't hold and the belt had almost completely slipped out of the buckle. After the 2nd lap, one of the teeth on the buckle broke. Fortunately the belt isn't permanently fastened to the chute and can be replaced, so I'm going to put together a replacement myself. Something more sturdy.

This parachute provides great resistance for running, makes your body work harder instead of longer. Comes in a neat little package and is easy to fold up after using. Takes a bit in the beginning to get used to using it but simple once familiar. Nice material and design. Works great.

The chute is actually very light and folds compact. I thought it was too small because it occupies such a small space but it’s a good size when opened. It offers very good resistance.
