WoodloreWoodlore 84008 Basic Cedar Hangers with Bar, Set of 5

I bought 10 of these hangers and was suspicious of the quality after reading the reviews, but I am very happy with them. The wood is dark pink with a lovely fragrance, not overpowering. My intended use is to hang lightweight sweaters so I do not want heavy, thick hangers. One hanger had a couple of tiny wood slivers on the under side that were easily removed. I do not see or feel any residue. I do not intend to hang anything on the cross bar so I don't care if they fall off. As others have pointed out, the cross bar is held in place by a small nail so I can see if you repeatedly take a heavy pair of pants on and off it could give way. These hangers are shirt hangers. They are not intended for suits, coats or pants. They are a great deal for the money.

Though the wood portion is very well made, the metal hanger portion is not attached very well. 3 of the 5 have fallen apart in less than 2 months.

I was looking for hangers to replace plastic breakable ones I had and to get rid of the freebies from the dry cleaner . and I also want to achieve a goal of being able to have Cedar for some items that will be hanging in the closet for a while . I bought 2 sets of these to get a total of 10 and they arrived recently and look great and smell great and combined overtime with my cedar oil that I can rejuvenate them with I'm sure I'll get years of quality use while achieving the goal of keeping bugs away and fresh smell in the closet

I bought two sets of these hangers and it really was shot in the dark. I was pleasantly surprised that the hangers were sturdy and easily fit my needs. They even had a very pleasant cedar smell. The only thing to note that unlike all of my other hangers, there is not coat or sheen on the hangers which made my close a little bit harder to hang. I think that shouldn't be a problem in the long run but I do think that should be something that people buying should know. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Pros:Good looking.Cedar smell.Upper wood portion solidly constructed.Cons:Metal hook can pull out of the hanger under stress.Horizontal bar is attached by pins and can pull out under stress.Overall, a reasonable value, but you might need to occasionally break out the epoxy glue.

Shipped and packed well. However, the most important thing is missing. It lacks quality. After the very first use, the middle horizontal bars started to fall apart and became useless essentially. It's hard to recommend such product to anyone. It's possible probably to fix it properly oneself, but what's the point of making something that requires fixing right away?! I would like the seller to credit some cash back for repairs of 10 hangers if possible to avoid total shipping back of damaged items. PLease advise on the options. Thank you.

I wear a lot of vintage clothing. Not because of some acceptance of fashion, because of its intrinsic value. Example: Willis & Geiger, defunct over a decade, their expedition-grade sportswear was made to last. You can find their stuff on eBay and such, and it still is anything but cheap, so I certainly want to protect my investment. Put a shirt on a narrow hanger and it stresses the seams; not good. These hangers are wide enough to spread the load, and strong enough to hold it. Cedar will naturally repel nasties, so my investment remains in good shape.Y'know, if you just buy cheap rags from Wallyworld, you might as well stick with the cheapo plastic hangers that come with your stuff. But if you go for more durable wear, this is what you should be using. And the price is right, eh?

I purchased two sets of these cedar hangers a few month ago - a hard item to find at your local 'brick and mortar' stores. I have used cedar hangers over the years with excellent results. My wife and I use them to hang sweaters and wool jackets - no moth problems and a nice subtle scent in your closets. These hangers are sturdy and the price is outstanding. I will purchase more of them.

Bin mir nicht sicher ob es dich um Original handelt. Ich hab bereits Original woodlore , welche dicker und stabiler sind und anders aussehen. Es fehlt zudem der woodlore Aufdruck auf den Bürgeln, dafür der Hinweis made in China.
