Worth Every Cent
I ordered this boot to replace my previous orthopedic issued one that was so loud and crunchy you could hear it across the house. I couldn't walk anywhere without waking people up as it sounded like I was constantly crinkling a bag of potato chips. This boot gave me comfort and the peace an quiet I was desiring.I was in a boot for 8 weeks before ordering this one and I wish I would have order sooner. Unlike my previous one, I have no problem with being uneven in this boot as long as I have a tennis shoe on my other foot. I needed an evenup before, but not with this boot. With 4 air cells I am able to customize the boot for better fit and comfort. I added a piece of velcro to the top strap as it kept sliding downAfter 2.5 months, the front panel aircell stoped holding air.i contacted the manufacturer and they promptly replaced it for me under warranty. 5 stars for customer service.I normally wear a women's 7.5 and I got a small. It says a small goes up to an 8.5, but I can't imagine an 8.5 fitting as my toes are pretty close to the edge and I'm only a 7.5.

Beats the big black boots by a mile
My orthopedist recommended this boot for my broken ankle when I said that the big black boot I got at the emergency room was very uncomfortable. Nothing will make your ankle stop hurting but this boot will certainly make your weeks of wearing it easier to take. It's lighter weight. It has only three straps and the front section comes off completely so you can place it on your leg where it's most comfortable. I put some little marks on the front and back pieces to align them at the best fit for my leg. There are four inflatable cushions for a custom fit.But nothing is perfect so here are the reasons I did not give this 5 stars. I wear a size 7 medium width shoe with an average calf size and the SMALL size boot is a close fit. One reviewer mentioned they had a large calf and needed to go up a size. I did not inflate any of the cushions which might have made it even more comfortable. I wish the product description had been more specific for fit recommendations. The inflatable areas have somewhat hard edges which are crimped don't lie smoothly inside the boot. They can poke a bit along the back side of the leg. Every boot I have seen has this problem. I use some thick foam padding in those spots to alleviate this. There are three flaps which fold over the toe area and can get warm so take the front flap and fold it down under your foot and let your toes peek out a bit to breathe. The description mentions including two socks - forget those. They are not socks. They are two lengths of cheap tubular knit fabric with one end sewn shut. I have been wearing this sockless since the fit is so snug that a sock might make it too tight. Even with what I have just mentioned, I wore this boot for five hours last night without taking it off to ice or just get some "free" time and had no problems. If you are looking for more comfort with plenty of support, get this boot.

Comfort
The deflate bulb doesn’t work properly. Doesn’t take out the air like it puts it in.

If you have large calves, order up
The size description of not accurate. Anyone who has moderately large calves needs to size up. They should include calf circumference as part of the measurement. I bought this BC it's supposed to be lighter and easier to wear. It's lighter but I wear a 6.5wide women's shoe and ordered a small. This pic is without even inflating the brace
