GoothdursAutomatic Mini Travel Windproof Umbrella Compact Auto Open/Close Small Lightweight Folding Rain Umbrellas for Women Men

I haven't used it yet, but it appears to be a nice umbrella. It is actually larger than I expected. Mine was closer to 9 inches then 8.5 inches. And, most likely due to the canopy size, it is also thicker. I measured an 8 inch circumference where the Velcro band is. My Totes mini umbrella has a 6.5 inch circumference. The Goothdurs is definitely not a 'mini' size, but it's not full size either. I think 'compact' is probably a better word for it. Fortunately, it is still able to fit in my purse, but I don't think it will fit all purses. I got the violet color. It is very pretty and matches the photo. The rod seems pretty sturdy compared to other non-full size umbrellas I've had, and I appreciate the auto open/close which is the main reason I bought it. I'm hoping that this umbrella will last a long time.

Small lightweight umbrella. Very well build, the metal is thicker than typical umbrellas and doesn't bend from wind as easily. The auto open and close is awesome, don't need to fiddle with the umbrella when it is raining. The print is beautiful. You could see it from both the top and the underside of the umbrella. It is a nice view as compared to gloomy rainy weather.

I bought this for my 8 year old so he can keep one in his backpack. This umbrella (while very pretty and seems sturdy) is so super heavy that it would weigh his backpack down. In addition, I had a difficult time closing it so I had him try ans there is absolutely no way he can use this as his backpack umbrella. We will keep it for him to use while I’m with him so I can close it thereby defeating the purpose of why I purchased it.

I purchased this umbrella a little over a month ago - tested it to make sure it worked and it was fine.First rain storm I had to use it which unfortunately was after I had the umbrella for a little over a month and the umbrella would not open or close - totally locked up. So I guess I am stuck with a broken umbrella which is sad because it is a great size and very attractive.

The first umbrella I bought was damaged when I received it. The top cap of the umbrella was broken.The replacement umbrella has lasted hardly 1 month and the support lines of the umbrella are all damaged. The kid is not even a rough user.

Had this umbrella in a side pocket in my bag for less than 6 mos; used no more than 3-4 times. Perfect size for small pocket. This week, in a POURING rain, took it out, pushed button & it popped up, but would not stay open at the top. Tried repeatedly, while getting wet. Threw in trash—wasted money!

I got this mini umbrella to fit in my handbag. There are so many colors to choose from and I picked the pink flower and its absolutely beautiful.Most important thing is that it is automatic. You can close and open with a click of button. I am happy with my purchase.

it opens and closes very easily. i bough because of the design and size. a little disappointed. The design is only on the inside. the outside is like black plastic. i am afraid if i use the tab that goes around to keep it closed it will rip a hole . once you have the umbrella out of the sleeve . well there is no going back. no way can you get this back in side that sleeve. so now i have a short fat umbrella . i put it in a plastic bag to contain the size.
