The color is brilliant and deep. The amount of thread is great. I can creat a twin size quilt, using just one spool and still have thread remaining.

Beautiful color, easy sewing. Not a very thick thread but durable.

I wasn't concerned about avoiding poor quality thread when I purchased this, because I've never encountered thread that was so ridiculously unsatisfactory! It keeps breaking when I try to sew with it, even thought the machine's tension is properly set for the task at hand. So I tried just tugging on the thread with my hands and it breaks really easily, way more easily than any thread I've ever used before. I had an incomplete stretch of quilting I needed to take out with the seam ripper because the bobbin thread once again broke partway through, and the thread was actually fraying into bits of fuzz and outright disintegrating as I picked it out gently with the seam ripper! I have NEVER had thread do this before. I bought this specifically for a time-sensitive project and because I don't have time to wait for a replacement of a better brand I'm just having to use other thread I already had at home in a different color. I will not be purchasing from this brand again. The only thing I can even imagine using this thread for is basting stitches done by hand that are not intended to last.

This thread is not for sewing. It is used for embroidery.It breaks and shreds easily in the sewing machine at low tension. Also, bundles up quickly. I spoke to two Joann’s workers and they both said that it is not the right type of thread for what I was needing it for. Tried to sew pillowcases.
