Book 2 Picks Up Where We Left Off
I forgot how quickly these authors can grab me into their web and drag me into Solaria. I loved that this book has all the characters point of view and I'm able to see all the perspectives. There is so much happening in this book and leaves me wondering what direction it will go in. I was left with more questions and theories when I finished this second book, and knowing I have 10 more books has me a bit nervous. That ending was intense, but I was happy to see the Twins making a stance with their magic. Plus, they were willing to embrace their inner Fae and realize that the throne might not be a crazy dream after all. There are still a lot more steps in the way before they can really make a bid for the throne, but it was great seeing them embrace their inner Fae and realize they are exactly where they should be. They're fighting for more than a birthright but for their right to feel at home, embrace their magic and live in the Fae World.I'm loving the complicated relationships between the heirs and the twins. And even the friend groups that are being built in this world. The new pranks being done against the Heirs had me howling with laughter, I could absolutely visualize Caleb fighting the Pegasus sex toy out of his room. And I loved that the group of Pegasus's shook their naked butts at him and got under his skin. And honestly, what the Twins do to Max and Caleb during the Pitball match was hilarious. There was so many great moments that made laugh and proud of their ability to take back their power. But that ending, did not see that crazy ending. I was happy to see that Darcy and Tory were able to make a stand and show they did care about those around them. They fought despite not having the correct training or knowing what their Order form is. Talk about a tease of what they might potentially be, I'm ready to see what happens. I'm jumping into book 3 immediately as I can't wait to find out answers to questions that keep rising.

Fae revenge is so sweet
4.25 ⭐ This series sucks you in and I relished the revenge moves by Tory and Darcy, FMCs. This book had me laughing out loud and cheering them on. We get more insight into the motives and struggles of the MMCs while still hating them for their actions. This second book didn't seem to move the fantasy elements along as much but did provide a fast moving pace and setting up the next book. If you are fine with a bully romance series then I highly recommend this series.

I liked this more than the first.
This book continued to build the series in such a fun way. The relationships that Darcy and Tory each have with the Heirs in interesting. This book is the first time we get perspectives from characters other than the twins, which is really fun and adds so much. The world building is done in an easy way where we learn along with the twins and it never seems overwhelming.I dropped my jaw at the first Darius chapter. It was a big reveal and done really well. The drama in this series is balanced with comedy in a really fun way. The Orion/Darius relationship is series but their banter is good. I was kicking my feet at the idea of them running back to each other.A lot of this book is spent at a party. I like seeing everyone outside of the school setting, Orion especially. We learn so much more of his backstory with his family. Plus, we get to meet the Heirs parents and learn more about them.I thought the pool scene was so creative. The banter between Darcy and Orion is so good. That scene was so exciting but also kind of heartbreaking.I love this and can’t wait to read the third.

Dark Academia, Fae, Elemental Magic, Forbidden Love & So Much More!♊️🖤
I loved learning more about the characters & their backstories/histories & relationships in this book. I also loved learning all about Pit Ball & watching a match as well as learning more about the magical world of Solaria. Getting more POVs of the Heirs & Orion in this book was also something I enjoyed.♊️ ♌️♒️♉️♓️♎️The ending made me want to immediately start reading book 3 to find out what happens next—I have it on the way now so am excited to start once it gets here!🤗Also, LOVE Orion even more after reading this book!🥵♥️

Now this is more like it.
Now this is more like it. The writing improved so much in this one, and adding multiple POVs was a game-changer. It made the story feel more dynamic and gave me a better connection with the characters.Let’s start with Tory & Roxy’s revenge game. Petty? Yes. Chaotic? Absolutely. Entertaining? Beyond. They are menaces, and I love them for it.Seth is the definition of emotional whiplash—one second, I want him obliterated, the next, he’s curled up wolf-cuddling with the guys, and I’m like… fine, you can stay. And then there’s Lance and Darcy. MY HEART. The forbidden tension, the push and pull, the sheer angst—I am obsessed. Also, why do I actually like Tory and Caleb together?? The whole “hunting” her dynamic?? Yeah, that works for me.Speaking of dynamics, Darius and Lance’s bromance is top-tier. These two are disasters, but they’re each other’s disasters, and I love that for them.Xavier, though. My poor soft boy. He deserves so much better than Daddy Acrux, and I really hope someone gets him out of that hell soon. And let’s talk about Geraldine. She went from who is this?? to an absolute comedic gem. Plus, the Caleb-loving-pegasus rumors?? I was crying. This book had better pacing, better character moments, and so many laugh-out-loud scenes while still delivering on the drama and tension. Already dying to see what’s next.

entertaining and funny
The book isn’t a masterful written fantasy but I stayed for the tea. Super funny and a great way to get out of a book slump because these books don’t take themselves too seriously

Oh my goodness
I could not put this one down or read fast enough. This is one of the books where I feel as though the second one was better than the first. So excited to see how this story progresses. The ending was such a good lead into book 3.
