Percy Barnevik on Leadership

ON leadership is one of the best books I have read for many years on Leadership, strategy change and little tit bits for a person who is so busy that sitting down for a 4 hour read has to have an outcome. It is broken down in to sound-bytes and one of my favourites is 185 Be Yourself. If you try and be a perfect leader without being anchored in yourself you will be found out, and it will create uncertainty. People will start wondering whether they can trust what you say. Those leaders who are perceived as genuine, reliable, honest and transparent are those who will be successful. As long as the leader works in an open manner without self importance and can admit her own mistakes then members of the team can accept shortcomings
