Yak-Gear Taco Paddle Clip Kit Black

This is a compact and effective device. I like to fish from my paddle board and am always fumbling around with my paddle, trying to figure out where to put it so it doesn't float away when I have two hands on my fishing rod. I was originally going to install this into my cooler, which I can secure to the back of my board and sit on. This is what a high-end SUP manufacturer has done -- it sells a cooler as SUP accessory, that secures to the SUP deck, and has what looks like an identical paddle clap installed on the cooler. I have the fancy cooler, but I couldn't bring myself to drill holes in it. So instead I installed the clip directly into the deck of my SUP with the included well nuts, and it works great. I have a place to put my paddle and I didn't destroy my fancy cooler. (Now some might note that a SUP is several times more expensive than even a fancy cooler. My response is that I use my SUP on the Potomac river, so it is already scratched and banged up from rocks, and a couple of drill holes aren't going to make it look any worse.)

This products appears to be of a higher quality than the first one I had, which broke. It mounted very easily and holds my paddle securely.

The screws that come with the clip are pan head style when flat head screws are what's needed to allow them to countersink and let the clip hold the paddle correctly. Even then, the grip on my Feel Free paddle isn't all that good.

My paddles fall out of these. Tried squeezing them smaller but didn't really help and too afraid to break them.

Does not come with nuts and bolts as described. Only comes with screws.
