Worked great on my 1970’s k161 powered Troy bilt horse tiller. Bracket on condenser was a little different so I made one to fit. Had to file one of the holes in the points base to fit, took about one minute. Very satisfied with item. Order it , get it , start your engine. Perfect. A+++

Take a close look at the condenser. It is not the typical mouse-tail design and the mounting bracket is permanently affixed to the exterior of the condenser. I like the design although it is not what I have typically used in the past.I created a new connecting wire from the condenser to the coil because one is not provided. I actually prefer my wire and soldered connectors to the cheap thin wire and connectors on most other condensers.I used my existing mounting bracket on the lower end of the condenser and it worked fine. The permanent mounting attached to the condenser did not work for my conditions.The result of the new points and condenser was a smooth running Kohler K-series engine.

Absolute trash the actual points for the k series are twice the size of this and way more robust you can't even bolt this in place and the condenser was way undersized compared to what's actually there on a Kohler k-series if you bought this and it works on a Case series you're a liar obviously fake reviews.

May work fine on other engines, but the condenser has the wrong mounting tab and the range of adjustment on the points wasn't enough.
