Heat based circuit breaker, works great for what is meant for just not in your engine bay
Heat based circuit breaker goes in your trunk not your engine bay. Will protect your amplifiers from a circuit overload, not the product to use on your classic car when you switch from a 60 amp alternator to a 90 amp alternator, as the heat of the engine bay will trip the breaker.

the real test is if it trips correctly. I still haven't tripped mine.
