My 5 year old grandson is obsessed with numbers and absolutely loves these, with the added bonus that on starting school he discovered they are used in the classroom for maths lessons. He already had the 1-20 number blocks and loves the dinosaur and vehicles sets.

Another quality product from learning resources. Mathlink cubes to make learning math fun and enhance the learning process. Comes well presented in a colourful box. You get 115 set in a vehicle theme. 100 cubes in 10 different colours. 30 activities on 15 double sided wipeable activity cards; to add, subtract and recognising patterns. The cards are clear and colourful, easy to understand and follow with the block pictures to scale, so the blocks can be placed on top to give a more hands on activity and better visualisation purpose. The blocks are all of a good size for small hands to grasp and hold, they push together easily, stay in place well and simply pull apart again. Each one does have the odd mark from casting where they were joined together, no real issue for us though. It comes with an instruction guide to talk you through each activity and help you with questions to ask and guide you with ways to encourage children to really think about what they need to do and expand and customise activities into your own. Love the hands on approach of learning, perfect to make it enjoyable so they like doing it without thinking math is a chore so they like doing it. You even get to build a model of a race car and helicopter. Great set which doesnt disappoint.
