SpectrePerformance 4299 .75" Push-In Breather with Grommet

Fit was good the quality of chrome finish is good and tied in well with the valve covers. It was installed on 1966 Ford Mustang v8 with a early 302

The grommet is too large for my 1989 Ford 4.9 i6. Amazon said it would fit, but it does not. I had to reuse the old grommet from the breather tube that was originally on the motor. the breather filter fit perfectly in the old grommet.

The valve cover breather looks like it's nice quality but there is one very important thing to make sure you have. I purchased this breather for my 1985 Jeep CJ7. My valve cover has a 1" hole and a lot of the breathers out there fit valve covers with an 1 1/4" hole so I was happy to find this one. The one thing you have to watch out for is The grommet that does come with the breather fits a 1 1/4" hole. Make sure you have a grommet that fits your 1" hole in the valve cover if you have one that size for the 3/4" breather. Luckily the valve cover that I purchased came with the grommet for the 1" hole in the valve cover for a 3/4" breather.

It looks nice and arrived in perfect condition. The only problem was that it was supposed to be a 3/4" nozzle and when it arrived it was a 1-1/4" nozzle.It arrived quickly and had no issues except for the size.
