I kinked it
Yeah. I might’ve caused a kink while being careless with an unstable board…it was my fault. It kinked. Worked ok for a few days. And then snapped. Having said that, I will be buying another. I was skeptical. I mean, sure it might be better than starret or the next level up…but $130 better??? Well, yeah… it is… this thing cuts like a dream…holy smokes, does it cut.

Resawing dream
This is the best blade for resawing up to 10.5" wide hard wood. Cuts like a hot knife through butter.

Wonderful Blade!
Great blade. Cut very smooth curves on the 48 6" thick pine house eve brackets I made, with just minimal sanding needed. As this was treated lumber with a high moisture content I had not expected this clean a cut, even when used on the Laguna 14/12 Bandsaw. Laguna recommended starting with pine first to break it in. Re-sawed a 12" Holly log into 3/32" & 1/8" thick pieces that again needed just finish sanding (if you don't stop the piece while cutting). It cut so consistently/gently that the bark remained leaving a nice live bark edge. While costly, if it lasts (carbide tips can be resharpened by Laguna) as long as they indicate it will be well worth the price.

Works exceptionally well.
I got nice straight resaws out of 7" stock with no trouble. The resawn side was easier to sand flat than the factory surface.

This is an incredible blade.
This blade walks through oak and cherry 6"thick or more. It's expensive, but buy once cry once, and make sure you've got enough saw to use it.

Best resaw blade i've used.
One of the best bandsaw blades I've used for resawing. I've used multiple regular 3/4" and 1/2" steel blades to do resawing and this blade is far superior to them in every way. I docked 1 star because the most recent blade i received had some burs on the sides of the carbide teeth from the brazing process that caused a rough cut. I tool a diamond plate and removed the burs and the cut quality went from rough to dang near table saw smooth.Picture shows from top to bottom table saw cut regular steel toothed band saw blade, resaw king, planer (on the cherry)

best for resawing
I have been thinking about getting a carbide tipped resaw blade from my Laguna 14/12 bandsaw for years. I finally took the plunge, and I'm very impressed with the blade. I experienced no drift even resawing hard maple or oily wood like nara. It's well worth the price!
