A little confusing at first, but it all worked out
I consider myself to be fairly tech-savvy, and expected to have this thing up and running in no time. I followed the directions, which were pretty straightforward, but when I was done with the installation, I could not properly load any of the websites that I frequently use.Every time I would type in a different URL, I would get a message from Chrome, saying something along the lines of "this site cannot be reached". If I waited long enough, a plain text version of the website would eventually begin to load very slowly, and it was not really functional at all, when trying to access something. This happened on sites like Amazon, eBay, CNN, Yahoo, ESPN, etc. These are websites that despite having a massive amount of content available, are almost always working flawlessly. At this point, I became concerned that the speed of the repeated signal was too weak to really do anything with.I hit the reset button on the unit, and decided to try the setup again. I went through the same steps, and when I was done, I typed in "Amazon.com", and the normal site immediately popped up, in its full glory. Unfortunately, when I started trying other websites, I got the same results as before. On one of these websites, I decided to try to hit the refresh button, and boom! There it was. A fully functional HTML website, with blazing speed.I actually had to initially go through this process for every site that I visited, but once I did that on a site once, I did not have to do it on future visits. I don't know what is causing this, or if it has anything to do with my computer itself, but I'm running Windows 10, and use Chrome for a browser. This problem has been pretty annoying, but at the end of the day, it only takes about one second to fix, and only has to be done once. Everything else about this unit is very impressive. It was much smaller than expected, and is not an eyesore, plugged into a socket in the middle of my kitchen. It actually looks kind of cool.Anyway, because of the page-loading issue, I don't feel that I can give this device a perfect score, so for that reason, it gets four stars. I am however, very happy with the product, and I'm glad that I bought it.

Works, but not getting reliable connections in our house.
Have not been super impressed with this unit so far. It works, but connectivity has not been reliable. Our primary house wireless works well - but we have an older large brick house, and do not get good coverage throughout. I am a network engineer by trade - work with a lot of high end wireless at my job - so I have experience and wireless tools to do a reasonable job of positioning this device at an optimum location in my house to try to improve coverage where we need it ( I should have known better than to buy this cheap a unit). Really never was able to get it to work very well - lots of complaints from the family. Probably a bit too cheap of a device to reliably do the job in my environment. I will either buy a better quality repeater - or just bite the bullet and run a wire to the other side of my house. The unit was easy to set up - it may work ok in a different situation than mine.

Simple, Compact and Strong Signal Ability
Upon receiving and unboxing the product I pleased to discover it is identical to my recently failed Sabrent WR-WN300 range extender bought in 2014; I looked for a similar replacement due to its good performance and ease of setup and got it. This design is compact and unobtrusive, we have it plugged in on a wall in our family room and didn't want antennas sticking out. This unit is fairly easy to set up, and has great range. My router is in the basement and the 2B-Link Extender provides strong Wi-Fi throughout the main floor of the house. I'm sure there are more powerful units at 2X or 3X the price, but for the price from Amazon this is a great value.

works pretty well. Not quite as I expected
works pretty well. Not quite as I expected. I thought it would work as a bridge too, to accept incoming wifi signals and plug my lan only blu-0ray player, But it was my misunderstanding. However, it works well, setup for it's intended functions are pretty easy. Setup didn't seem to work with chrome, worked fine in I.E. though.

Awesome extender - but change the default SSID!
Super awesome little wi-fi extender gives me 5 bars in places that were previously spotty. Set up was a breeze, but make sure you change the SSID for the extender during the set up process. The default will be something like "YOURSSID_Ext." Just delete the little "_Ext" so it shares a name with your current Wi-Fi network and you'll have seemless wi-fi coverage throughout your house. I'm not sure if it actually passes your IP from the AP to your primary router when you switch coverage zones, but who cares if it works?!

Where has this device been all my life?!
I live in an apartment and my internet connection to my direct TV would disconnect every couple of days. My router is located in my bedroom and my TV is located in the living room. The distance from router to TV is not far, but a wall does separate the two, and it must have been preventing a sustaining internet connection. I plugged this extender up next to my TV and my internet connection on my TV has not dropped since. Set up was straight forward and simple. Excellent device and great price!

Seller needs to disclose who makes this and provide access to firmware upgrades.
Works, but no idea who makes it, or how to get important firmware upgrades, etc. Seller doesn't have a website, although they have been talking with me emailed a firmware upgrade... but I don't trust this situation.
