Brother Mel: A Lifetime of Making Art Hardcover – Import, 12 December 2009

This book was used - a fact that was definitely mentioned in the product description. But it also was supposed to be in "good condition". It was the jacket/cover on the hardback book that was damaged. It was torn in several spots and I had to remove it because this was a gift. I did not find any 'new' versions of "Bother Mel: A Lifetime of making art" so i had to keep this copy without the jacket.

Brother Mel taught at our school as a young brother and I knew him through various events. The book does justice to his lifetime of work for the Society of Mary, his religious order. The book is well organized and gives a fair sampling of the various media he worked in. this book is a staple in our collection.

I gave it as a gift & had it shipped directly. Since you never know....it was still in wrapper as new.
