I first bought the electronic version of the book, only to discover it was not an actual e-book but a PDF version of the printed book. Horrible to try to read on my laptop and worse on any smaller device. So I broke down and ordered the 6-month rental hard-cover book. It came, but the cover was not attached. Otherwise, the book looks clean, which is good, but how do you keep it like that when the cover is detached?! Three stars, because I'm sure the content is acceptable for the course, but accessing the book in a reasonably convenient way has been the biggest challenge of the research class I'm taking so far. Accessibility is so basic, I can't believe how far this has missed the mark ... twice.

This is an excellent book in the Empowerment Series for Social Workers. It is directly applicable to the MSW licensure exam. Would highly recommend. Seller was terrific. Shipped item very quickly. Item packed well. Would highly recommend.
