Haptic bass is a game changer
Now I dont usually reveiw product but damn i was so impressed by this one i decided to. This headset has great audio quality to the point where it sounds just as good as a home theatre. The haptic bass is also insane it improves both music and gaming so so much the bass with music is far more heavy and almost as good as if you where actually using a subwoofer speaker system in games its also prety crazy ive been playing squad and you can feel the rumble of artillery landing in the distance and of a incoming tank it is crazy cool. Also the wireless has no latency if any thing it actually seems slightly quicker then my last wired headset. only complaints i really have about these headset is the lack of a charging stand and also a ok mic (sounds like prety much every other gaming headset mic) but isnt a deal breaker at all for me personally. For being this good the 180$ price tag is super fair and would have to say it edges out other headsets in this price category.TLDR: if your looking for new gaming headset or headset for listening to music i would heavily advice this one the haptic base is a game changer for both gaming and music.

Take your gaming/movie experience to the next level.
As I write this review I have only had these for 2 days so I will not speak to the quality of the product as far as wear and tear goes. Suffice to say I've never had an issue personally with razer products holding up over time. You might think sound quality took a hit by the added haptic feature compared to other razer products in this price range. I'm happy to report it has not. It is still, in my opinion, one of the best sounding headphones you can get at this price range. In fact, if your game supports THX, which granted is rare, the 7.1 really shines. I've played both Forza Horizon 5 and Warframe (both support THX) and I can tell exactly where sounds are coming from.Comfort. This is where it takes a small hit for me. I'm a big guy. I have a fat head and big ears. These have slightly smaller cups than previous Kraken models I have owned. They also do not "breathe" as well so for longer gaming sessions you will feel it a little. Its not major and doesn't make you feel like you need to take them off. But the slightly larger cups of the past would have been greatly welcome for fat heads like me.Now for the big question for anyone switching to Haptic. Is it worth it? What does it do exactly? Well let me tell you. Its amazing. 100% worth it if you are in the market for new headphones. Like I said, the quality of the sound is there for Razers so if for any reason you don't like the haptic you can easily turn that off. I don't see how you wouldn't like it though. Haptic adds rumbles or thumps depending on whats going on that make you feel what is going on. It can range from a thump and rumbling from an explosion, to tiny thumps with each bullet you fire/get hit by. When watching shows you feel the explosions or say horses run by, you can feel each individual foot step. In one situation an electrified blade was swung by a characters head and it actually felt like the blade was swung right by my head. That said there is a couple things to say that are the downside to the haptic and why it is a 4 instead of a 5 for me. It has 3 settings. Low, medium, and high. I'm not sure why low is there. It may as well be off. Medium is where I keep it and sometimes it has trouble deciding what to do. I will notice it missing explosions or half way kicking in and then stopping. It seems to be very volume dependent which also means it is dependent on how the sound production is as well. The high setting is kind of nuts with how much power the vibrations can get. Enough so that while it doesn't actually distort the sound you will still feel as if it does. High to me, and it seems most people is to much. I really wish there was a setting between medium and high. And lastly voice chat. The haptic can and does pick up with voices. When gaming its not really a big deal. Got used to it in just a couple hours. If/when you are just talking, playing D&D, watching a podcast, simply just turn the haptic off.Music. There really isn't much to say here. Its simply amazing what a little rumble in your ear on deep notes, drums, even bells can add. If you are into rap you will get that vibration in your head just like you would at the club on those bass hits. All in all I HIGHLY recommend giving these a try if you are needing new head phones or have the disposable income to try something different. Even with the misses the haptic sometimes has, the benefits far outweigh the downsides. It really does add that next level to audio. One last thing. The razer synapse program is great. It allows you to set several different profiles for those that love to mess with the equalizer and then easily set which apps/programs use which profiles. If you have a few different profiles for more highs or lows depending on what your watching, you can easily switch which profile the app uses with a drop down menu.

Good Audio, Decent Gaming Performance, Iffy Features, Weird Bugs
After having these for a bit, I can confidently say they are not for everyone - and that the extra features of this headset (the RGB, Hypersense) can sometimes either not work or just aren't appropriate for every situation.SOUND: [Overall good. Decent gaming headset.]With that out of the way, the sound quality is good. It's not unrivaled, but it's not awful either. Out of the box the audio is quite balanced, but using the Razer Synapse software, you can change the equalizer to however you'd like (as well as enable THX sound quality). With Hypersense on, for the most part, I don't get ANY sound distortion from the low-end at all. But occasionally the high-end and higher-pitched voices will get a weird tinny effect. I tend to turn off Hypersense altogether when in discord call to avoid this. There is also a soft static when the volume is cranked up in the headset. This is something that doesn't bother me though, since I hardly will ever use the headset at such a high volume. Also, if the volume is set that high, literally almost any noise coming out of the beefy audio drivers in this headset will overpower the soft static hum.BUILD:The headset is quite comfortable to wear and not too heavy, definitely can wear for an extended period of time. The volume wheel is a nice touch, as well as a physical mute button. Not much else from there, aside from the button dedicated to the HyperSense feature on the right ear cup.FEATURES: [Iffy, good when it fits/works.]Hypersense is like a jar of cookies. They are nice in moderation but too many and you're left feeling sick and dissatisfied. I really do love the rumble, especially with really bass-heavy songs (it's like dirty bass rumble, but the audio quality is still there), but in some games it just triggers too much. Sometimes in games it triggers almost non-stop, and in others it's a rare occurrence. The only adjustable way the user has to change this is by manually altering the volume of the audio they are listening to, or by setting Hypersense to high/med/low/off. Of course this is completely personal, but some games are better with it turned off rather than on. It really depends on the specific game/media.RGB is another cool feature, but more often than not it either just doesn't work right with Synapse (Razer's program) or is considerably delayed and desynced from any other synapse-reliant RGB. Occasionally, while using the headset and plugging it in to charge during use, it will also just crash synapse altogether, completely freezing all RGB. Restarts and forcibly closing synapse work sometimes, but not all the time. This might be because when plugging in the headset to charge during use also turns off all HyperSense and RGB features. THOUGH, all RGB issues I have would probably be mitigated by getting the normal version of this headset (which is wired only).OTHER QUIRKS [Audio playback issues, audiojack.]Negatively, sometimes the audio doesn't stream out of the headset. This prompts me to either restart the headset or to toy around in Window's audio settings to try and figure out why my audio died. Most of the time turning it off and on again fixes it, but not all the time. There have also been times where when I use the headset and sit in silence for a bit, and then try to play audio - no audio plays. Again, prompting me to restart the headset.Positively, the headset doesn't require power to use when using the audio jack. Also, the headset has an audio jack and pretty decent noise cancellation. I can use this on the bus with my Switch or whatever and listen to music/play games in peace. However, when plugged in there is obviously no RGB or HyperSense. This headset also has a decent wireless range, letting me get up to use the restroom and still hear what is happening from a room and a half away through walls.MIC: [Oops]The mic is removable, but I have a dedicated microphone already so I did not use this feature at all. If you are looking for superb mic quality on a wireless headset though, I suggest the Corsair HS80.

Great sound but the haptic feature sounds rough.
Pros- Great battery life (insanely good if you don't use haptics or lighting.)- Great mic (Friends don't complain in discord.)- Comfortable (Can wear all day with 0 issues.)- The audio sounds so good and I can easily make out little details in games (footsteps far away, enemy reloading, etc.)Cons- Haptics sound rough. There is this annoying buzzing noise or almost like a ring when something has bass but not enough bass to make the headset haptics vibrate. Makes it unbearable to use if I'm not listening to something that has punchy enough bass. Putting them past level 1 (3 levels of haptics) is just horrible. They add an extra level of detail but it rarely works to be overall enjoyable.- Little to no swivel on the ear cups for adjusting on your head.- Synapse 3 is a terrible program (at least in my experience.) It took my headphones multiple tries of unplugging the usb adapter and plugging back in along with restarting my computer until my headset showed up in Razer's program.- Headset is reading as speakers on my PC. Truly don't know if this causes any issues but it's kinda annoying.- The THX spatial audio option that it says should be default sounds awful. Don't use it.Overall would recommend but there is some issues here that shouldn't be present in such an expensive headset. I think these are better than the Blackshark V2 Pros in terms of sound and the fact that its USB-C charging, but I wouldn't buy this headset if your in it for the haptics.

Extremely comfy and sounds great!
I love these headphones. They're so comfy and I wear glasses. They sound awesome, after you tweak the settings, they sound so much better. The mic quality lacks, they're worse than my arctis series 5 from 2018, but it is what it is. The synapse software works great for me, although I know many people have issues with it. I do love the haptic feedback feature, works great, although I use the low setting as the medium and high start to give my a headache. Overall they're a great pair of headphones, I wish they were less expensive though, maybe $50 less.

Great product, louder than the demons talking to me.
This is a wonderful product that allows me to forget the voices talking to me inside of my head.Let me elaborate, I have been suffering from these voices talking to me in my head since I was young. It would drive me insane sometimes but now that I have this headset, the volume is louder than the voices!!! As such, I would recommend this to any gamer that has the same issue as I.

No chances I send them back
Finally! After I don't know how many headsets/headphones I tried, I believe I have found the best compromise for what I was looking for.See, I was looking for a clean sound and punchy bass that it was wired or not and thanks for their Wharehouse deals, I tried many headset, but all of them were either lacking something or were damaged. That pair is the best combination of what I was looking for.I do not care about bluetooth so wireless and wired are fine by me. The EQ on Synapse makes the sound better. I also tried them wired with a Sound Blaster dac and wasn't disappointed. They're big because of the haptic feedback. There's three levels of intensity that you can choose on either Synapse or from the headset itself. For console owners, I tried them on Ps5, there's 3d audio and the sound is fine too. Probably not as good as the H7 or H9 can be (Probably, but won't spend 400$ to know it) :PI enjoy them. If haptic isn't your thing then the Kaira Pro with Bluetooth can be another option.

Substandard sound quality
I had high hopes for this headset as I mostly play World Of Tanks and thought the Haptic Technology would add to the realism of the game ( sound and vibration inside a tank ) but the effect is very vague and random and really has nothing to do with what is actually happening in and to my tank...it activates in a general way to anything going on in the game so really it adds nothing and in fact becomes distracting. In addition the sound range seems very flat for me even after trying different equalizer settings...I never could get the low frequency sounds that I expect in this game. So I am returning them and am going to try the Hyper X Cloud II headset that also has good reviews. I understand " good " sound is a very subjective thing as is finding a mouse that works well for you. I just found this headset was disappointing to me.I just received my HYPERX CLOUD II headset and I have to say the sound quality compared to the Razer Kraken V3 HyperSense is like night and day! Totally in another realm. The range, the clarity is in a different class altogether. I have listened to the same music videos I listened to with the Razer set and there is no comparison. These are just as comfortable ( maybe more so ) and with no equalizer software sound SOOOOOOOOOOOO superior to the Razer set. I am not so sure the 7.1 surround is as good as other offerings out there but the THX feature with the Razer set was no better. I play mostly World of Tanks so the positional aspect of the sound is not as critical as say Call of Duty type games. I am 100% happy with this HYPERX headset and would encourage anyone out there to give these a try!
