These are awesome, an amazing fit, padded, nice colour and they’re very durable, I use these every time I have practice or lessons

The seam on the middle finger on the left hand glove had come away, had to mend before use.

Not worth the cost. Gloves super thin and there is only padding on palm not around wrist as advertised.

I am an adult figure skater of 40+ years, and ordered these gloves in a size Medium. I still do spins, jumps, etc., and thought I’d treat myself to something a little nicer than the usual odd bits of foam rubber stuffed into the palms of my gloves. The gloves arrived quickly; I ended up returning these gloves just as quickly for a refund.The main problem was the padding—which was NOT gel, but the thinnest sliver of foam rubber padding imaginable. (See photos 2 and 3.) The foam padding was 1/16th” thick and would’ve provided the impact protection of a bandaid.Not only was it too thin, it was too small in size and fell in the wrong place on my hand. These gloves are long, with short fingers. The foam padding did not fall at the base of my palm where the impact would be, but about 3/4 to an inch higher. The fingers of the gloves also did not come all the way down to my hand (see last photo).Ordering a size Large may have corrected these issues (no info given in description as to how to order correct size, so I had to guess based on the comments). But then the glove length (which was already bordering on too long) would have extended even farther up my arm, which did not appeal to me. And there was no point in exchanging sizes since the main objective—padding—was not realized. I returned the gloves for a refund, and am back to stuffing a small piece of 1/2” foam rubber into my regular practice gloves.

I bought these for my 13 year old daughter who is a figure skater. She said the little padding is nice when she falls and the fit is nicer than traditional gloves, but that if you get too much ice on them, they don't keep your hands as warm as the traditional cheap gloves we've always bought. She will continue to use them for the padding protection. However, if you're sensitive to the cold, I would recommend putting a cheap pair of black gloves over the top for added warmth. I also think they are a little overpriced.
