Previous review, I indicated the butterflies would not stay lit up. After removing and re-inserting the batteries, it works as it should now. Very satisfied with purchase!The cats on the log garden decoration is cute, but the butterflies don’t stay lit up. They come on for a few seconds and then go off. I have placed in full all day sunlight and dark area at night and it comes on, but goes off after a few seconds. I tried to contact the seller thru amazon seller messaging and can’t get past selecting the item. The item was purchased as a gift and returning for replacement is too much hassle. It may be just a bad battery or a wire? Having it light up was the reason for purchase and disappointing that the feature doesn’t function properly.

I thought it was too cute to put outside, so it is on my kitchen windowsill so that I can see it whenever I am standing at the kitchen sink. The only problem is that sometimes it lights up at night, and sometimes it doesn't. It's still adorable though.

This item is so cute. Wish the solar light was a bit brighter, but it is so cute and looks great in my garden.

Honestly, so pretty! I was so excited when I pulled this out of the box. The weight and feel of it, the details and colors... a beautiful piece to have in the garden. The reason I rated giftability and durability low is that when I took the piece out, I found that the black light switch box in the bottom was missing. Very strange! So I couldn't light it up. I don't live in the US, so I find replacing purchases difficult. I'm really appreciative and thankful to the seller for their attentiveness to the issue. Recognizing the logistical matters, they gave me a full refund without asking for me to try to mail it back. And then I got creative and bought a small Christmas light decoration that I stuffed into the piece to try and see how that would look. I have to say when I lit it up, it was great! It's a beautiful piece at night. So maybe the defect was a one-off. I can't be sure. But because of the seller's customer care, I would buy from them again.

Had this for a few months now. It has survived very bad weather and remains cute and working.

It's a cute item and works well but not worth the cost IMO. Only purchased because my husband loves squirrels.
