She’s beautiful. A very sturdy weight, she fits in the palm of my hand. The base/stand works well, I haven’t so far had any issues with it. The detail is outstanding. I can imagine a man or a woman holding the original 10,000 years ago just as I hold this replica now and feel this intense awareness of the passage of time.I am VERY pleased with this purchase.

Absolutely wonderful reproduction. I use this for teaching, but it also makes a wonderful decoration. If anything this statue provides a connection to our ancient ancestors, that might seem sappy but the thought that someone made this 20,000 years ago is truly magical (no sarcasm). The statue is well made and solid/heavy. Highly recommended.

This is a very cute copy of a famous sculpture originally created 25,000 years ago. It is accurate in all details and the same size (4-5 inches tall) as the original. It comes complete with a display stand. I bought it as a suprise gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. Experts believe it was created as a fertility goddess so it might make a good gift for a woman wanting to be in a family way.

I bought this to give my art students a hands on feel for prehistoric art. I rubbed some mud on it and dark earthy paint into the crevices to make it a little more authentic looking. The scale and detail in this little piece is wonderful and I can almost gurantee that none of my students will ever forget this one. I wish I could find a decent reproduction of Nefertiti now. It'd be nice if the Berlin Museum would make a scanned 3D copy of it.

I bought several other versions of this Venus.--all plastiky making me want to recycle them.But this Parastone work is delicious. I turned around and bought a Venus for another amateur mythologist.The price was right too, but I'm afraid they will raise the price if I tell you and I may buy more.
