Beautiful Men's Formal
I built the mock up and it fit the actor perfect. The instructions were not complete and what was there was hard to follow but I was trained by a tailor and I knew what was missing and took care of it. I think if a first time sewing person took it on it would be a problem for them.

Really doesn't work to well.
I bought this pattern as part of a cosplay because I couldn't find a more mainstream (Simplicity/ McCalls) pattern for a dresscoat with tails. I bought the fabric according to the instructions on the outside without flipping through it, which I figured was fine. The pattern called for 3 yards of 60" fabric for the coat and 2 yards of 45" fabric for the lining. Here's the thing: When folded according to the directions, the pattern pieces don't fit on a mere 2 yards of lining fabric. They hang off the ends, making this pattern completely impossible to follow, and costing me a second trip to the fabric store.Except. Here's the kicker: The pattern pieces aren't sized properly, so a size 38 pattern, does not fit a size 38 person. Everything's too tight and tiny to be usable (even after adjusting the seam allowances to provide a little more room in the armholes, and the pattern's all cut up now, so there's no going back and trying again. My final critique, which is the least of the problems I've had working with this pattern, is that there are too many sizes included in the pattern to make it easy to properly trim.. All 11 lines intersect and merge at some point in the various pattern pieces, and it's basically impossible to be sure you're following the correct one, even after employing a highlighter. This was my first RH pattern, and I can safely say it will be my last.

Have yet to use it, but came in great condition.
I need to actually put this pattern to use, considering the price, but we modified some parts for a Onceler costume.
