Sleek design and style. The instructions suggest there are cut out templates included but they are not. I ended using the box as the template and the rest was straight forward. The Leviton version is higher quality and stronger. Both are very nice.

These are perfect and love the color. I had a local electrician come install and they asked where I got them because they had not seen such high quality in these before. They were telling their boss so they could possibly order them in the future.

This is a high quality item that mounted easily on a new art studio work table. Power access is needed here occasionally but much of the time an unobstructed workspace is appropriate. Since the activity sometimes involves liquids, the GFCI outlet is just what we need

It was well worth the big price. I'm sure our three will last many decades. My video doesn't show that it is brushed gold, see the photo. It's well designed. Press the button and the hinged door glides open. The two outlets and two USB ports are attached to the door. They rotate up as the door opens. To close, push the button and push it shut. The outlets are safely out of sight when unused, and cannot be accidentally closed while cords are plugged in.It's good to install it so that the outlets will face where you'll use them, like a seating area, not a pathway, so the cords needn't circle around to get to the lamps. We aligned ours so the plate and door lines go the same direction as the floor pattern.I am only posting this to help others, I get nothing else out of it.

I ordered 2 for the floor of a raised platform. They are good looking, pop up and close as expected and fit with the industrial chic vibe I was looking for.Photos to follow.

I just installed this pop up floor receptacle yesterday and it works as expected. I was an electrician in my younger years and although it took me several hours to install this, I am so delighted with the results. My wife had an extension cord under the carpet for the living table lamp and I knew that an extension cord placed under a rug is a possible fire hazard, so I purchased this pop up floor receptacle.For anyone requiring a pop up receptacle I highly recommend this product. If you are not a handy man, get a qualified electrician to perform the work.
