This is my first trap bar and really the first one I've used. With that in mind, I can't really imagine a better trap bar for my needs. I read a lot of reviews of various cheaper and more conventional trap bars and read a few horror stories of cheap and busted packaging, damaged bars, bars that came rusty, and even bars that were welded non symmetrically. That led me to buy a higher quality bar (this one) at a premium over cheaper options. And as expected, none of these issues were present with this bar. Even the packaging was very, very well done. The bar is amazing with no issues.The two features that set this bar apart (other than overall solid quality) were ones I wasn't sure I'd really love, but as an engineer I respected the design so decided to go for it and give this unique bar a try. I'm glad I did! The loading feature is extremely convenient and works very, very well even in my small and cramped home gym. And while I haven't yet taken advantage of the open design, it seems like it would be great for farmer's walks or lunges. And despite looking like the open design might cause structural integrity issues, the bar feels very, very solid. I've had around 400 lbs on it for deadlifts and it feels like it could take a lot more (even if I can't) without any issues of bending or flexing.Lastly, I love how it can sit up on its stands along a wall behind my squat rack to store extremely conveniently while not in use.

We are getting older but love weight training. This bar works well for both my wife and I. Sturdy but not oversized, and yet light enough for my wife to use it without being intimidated. Permanent staple in our home gym.

The entire bar appears to be made of solid bar stock. The welds are good and clean, bearings roll smooth, knurling is perfect. The quality and the price correlate very well. Very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with this trap bar. It's fine for me. But the collar is kind of short, If you're using bumpers, I don't think you can make it any heavier than around 300 or so. If you want to have collars on it.

This bar really feels like absolute top of the line weight lifting equipment. Excellent. The design allows for a multitude of exercises, and also very easy storage and easy unloading and loading of plates. Use it often!

This is simply the best rendition of the classic Kelso trap bar from 30+ years ago. The "tilt" loading feature is an elegant solution to loading the bar. The "tilt" also allows it to be stored between workouts in a minimum of space. Perfect!

Just as the title said and it’s worth the money!
