It’s good for a baby to not put their fingers through
Great for a baby. Not so much for dogs. I got it so my puppy stopped putting his paws and nose through to my older dog and it made it so the puppy could climb the gate instead. Nope. Great for babies I’m sure though

I used it so that my daughter couldn’t reach through the gate to my son’s side of their playroom. I choose black because it’s easier to see through.

Does not protect, just provides a visual barrier
I did not prefer the strings as the reinforcements. if too short, you cannot securely top and bottom, however, there is no actual way to make sure baby doesn't slip under the mesh
