They are 1/2" head not 7/16"
I like the that the screw threads are the full length of the lag. They seem to be of decent quality. I use these lags to replace 1 1/2" lags when they are too short.It is frustrating that the head size is 1/2" and not the 7/16" as advertised. The lags that are the industry standard for installing garage doors are 7/16" head and changing sockets when you're on the flow of an install is frustrating.

What i can say! Just excellent screws
I like much this screws i will keep buying with you guys very nice and strong do not broke the heads with my impact drill 😃 100 times better that homedepot screws ! 👍🏻

Have purchased before. We live on a ranch and much better to buy in bulk. Over the rears no problems with any of the bolts purchased

Tough enough
I've tested a couple into hardwood with no pilot hole. They both survived the impact driver, in and out,, hotter than hell, and neither broke. The person that complained about breakage was probably driving 1/4" lags that for whatever reason twist off at the first sign of resistance no matter which big box you buy them from. The price is very attractive.

Pretty sure these ended up fitting on my 1/2" drive which is really what I wanted so no problem. I just don't know if they will always ship the same size because they didnt come in a box they were all in small packages inside a large shipping bag

The 7/16 head lags were 1/2 inch head lags. I should have returned them didn’t notice until I was on a job.
